It's a gloomy start to the new year here. It was very foggy this morning and is still hazy. It's so humid that everything is wet again.

Barbie, cats seem to love being up high. I have some cabinets in my office that have a gap of about 6 inches between them and the ceiling. Annie and Possie use to love jumping up there. They would come running down the hall, bounce off the back of my office chair and squeeze their fat butts on top of the cabinets. Then I had to watch that they didn't bail off and land on my head. They have finally quit doing that but Annie will stand on the chair and think about it.

It's been a long, boring day with nothing worth watching on TV. Tomorrow will probably be about the same since a lot of things will still be closed.

Just thought would post some information that I found while I was snooping on the web today. For those of you who have iPads. The iPad 1, 2,3,4 and the iPad mini original are now considered obsolete and longer being supported as of May 2022. What this means is, If you have an unsupported iPad, you can still use it as a regular iPad. However, you will not be able to update the software or take advantage of any new features that may be released by Apple. 10 is the last update for those IPads. The latest update that was released last year is 15.6.1.

Sue, I've never had an I-Pad and only used laptops since we've been retired. I like the large screen, but things happen and I might change my mind some day.

Steve finished pressure washing the patio today after church and the motorhome is back in place where it belongs. Pressure washing is mandatory once a year and we got an extension since the batteries were dead in the coach. But it purrs like a kitty now and the patio is clean.

Friends are coming on Tuesday and Steve will fix pizzas on his Egg. We had them recently but you can't have pizza too often, or can you? They really liked them several visits ago and they're so easy to put together.

Fuel prices are going up again. We were really hoping to go somewhere this summer with the coach. But it's still early in the year...maybe things will change for the better.

Happy New Year! I haven't been up to see the new year in for many years. Did a little sorting and organizing in the stash of Christmas decoration. Our church has a holiday decoration garage sale each October so I am putting some decorations I don't put out anymore I to a box to donate this October. It is surprising how well we do at that sale. We are supposed to get whalloped with another storm Monday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon. I am happy I don't need to be anywhere. Hope 2023 is good to all. We are looking forward to a good year.

Happy new years to you all and happy anniversary Carol and Bill
we had lots of visitors today after church a old friend and her husband followed me to see mom
she was my sister's best friend so really didn't know her as Mary Ann was quite a bit younger than I am I was the eldest and she was the youngest... so I didn't really know her friends... then Mary Ann died when she was 13 anyway short visit with her and her husband... then another couple came by but they do it every Sunday after they left I fixed mom something to eat and then I went to read scriptures and ended up taking a nap well after I read scriptures... heard someone come in my nephew and his wife came to take down the tree... then we were visiting and it was about time that I was going to put the potatoes in the A/F when the door opened and there was my two daughters son in law and granddaughter .... so we visited for a bit... son in law was just using a cane doing so much better... both dd's gave me a gift they have put me on the Christmas exchange list so I had dd #3 and I'd already gotten hers via her son... I sent them money and they picked it up so when dd #2 gave me a gift I questioned it she said it is this way if I want to give something to my mom as well I can but mom can't give it to anyone else but the one she is suppose to... so I got a glass and puzzle the puzzle is what is one the glass... not sure where to try putting it together at.. I am so slow with puzzles then dd #3 gave me a bear nativity set... we had one for years and after Larry passed away I gave it to dd #4 as she really liked it and I just thought her dad would want her to have it and then...... regretted it I missed that nativity set so much I do believe that it is the same one...I was thrilled to get it...
tomorrow need to go to the store out of various items like mom's iron and tummy pills... as well as other things...
no Christmas movies... seems strange so now it's a marathon of Auroa Teagarden mystery
you all have a great day and again Happy New Year
