It is fun but I have to remember to plant things that take several days so I get a break from the computer game. I'm looking forward to partying with my friends on the 13th. Most of them that will be at Lake Chelan are folks I went to Cancun with on the long RV trip back in 2005. We had so much fun on that trip together!!

Have to say the weather has been on the most part great so we have been enjoying our stay in WA. Found a new wine I love .... KIONA... Late Harvest White Riesling....a dessert wine, sweet from Benton City next to Richland. Yokes grocery store carrys the brand so I did not have to make a trip to the winery. A guy in the grocery store saw us haul out 2 cases of wine and shouted " I'm coming to YOUR house!" lol Have to pick up 2 cases of the Columbia Winery Cellarmaster's Riesling for my next door neighbor in Yuma. She's moved there all year now so she can't get it anymore. Glad we are not crossing the Canadian border!! We look like a bunch of drunks!!

We are having alot of fun visiting family, can't believe how mature my Son is getting...prayers have been answered lol. Now just wish the DD would grow up!

Our home town just keeps growing and growing and the traffic gets worse and worse...someone shut the borders so noone else can come here and live please! Glad I'm out in the Foothills of Yuma now where it is quieter and I live on a street that is quiet. My little piece of Heaven and I miss it but not the hot weather lol.

Have a great day everyone!

Say, Jenny -

How do you keep the wine in a dark and cool enough place to not have it turn? We bought some whites and zins to bring back east one trip and when we tasted it, some had started to turn to vinegar! Guy at the winery said heat will do that. I'm really curious because I turn more wine than I drink, I swear! And I keep mine at home in a small frig! Thankfully, some people don't seem to notice the vinegar taste! Can get one doozy of a headache from drinking it, tho.

Funny you should say that Evie because I had some boxed wine on the vent to keep it cool and tasted it and it's still ok. The bottles are in the bedroom on the floor in a dark area. My bedroom is always cooler than the rest of the RV and we sleep with the window open at night so it's cool in there. Dan has the hot flashes not me lol....I'm always cold!!

Thanks for the explanation of "Farm Town." For a minute there I thought you really had gone bonkers! You have created a lovely farm, though. Glad you're enjoying your time in WA with family and friends. Keep us posted.
