Velda, so sorry you lost Mandy.

It only got up to 68 today and it's was windy. I went to town without my grocery list again. If I had a brain I might be dangerous. I remembered everything except 2. I went to Walmart to try to get the rest of the pills from Sugar's prescription. I thought that since they could only give me part of the prescription last time they would order some of the pills. They didn't. I have enough until next Wednesday. They always want some feedback every time I fill the prescription. They are going to get some this time.

Barbie, you should get an electric battery charger/starter. I can run an extension cord and charge a battery or start a vehicle with the one I have. I have camped with people who's converter went out and if you hook up a charger to the rv battery you can make the weekend and have 12 volt power. I carry one in the motorhome. If I can get the generator started I can jump my engine battery with the charger.

I got a lot of things loaded today. Maybe I can get on the road before noon tomorrow. It's only 60 miles to the campground. My sister still hasn't told me if she is going.

I should be good to go now. I have a new battery and a new fuel pump and a very low bank account. :o
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

so it was the fuel pump or did they just replace it hoping???
so very sorry for you Velda... it's just sad when they have to leave us...
Sue like your decorations...
saw your pictures on FB Anita you did get snow...
I don't think we did today but have a winter storm warning out for tomorrow to Friday... it's suppose to be a wide spread storm ... and very high percentage of chance of snow like 100% at least that is what my SIL told me... suppose to lots of snow in Yellowstone on the mountain passes... heard lots of Booms today first thought it was a door being slammed but when I heard it in the addition thought that can't be a door slamming so reached out to my niece and asked what it was... it was avalanche control on Snow King (one of the ski hills here in town) she also ordered my boots today and a book that I wanted... my dear friend in WA just finished a book... and even though I have it on my computer I would rather read the book so ordered it... will get the package around the 8th I was actually hoping like sooner...I guess I will have to struggle and get my tennis shoes on... my wolky's are really chilly in the snow and we do have snow...
the past few days pretty much all week have heard the house phone ring but couldn't get to it quick enough it usually is in the morning when I'm just barely waking up but this morning for some reason mom heard it so I went to see who it was it was her dr's office wanting to make an appointment for med renewal... I will have to make sure he knows how often she goes to the bathroom.. I'm not sure if it's due to her forgetting she went or if it's a "need" I just know she goes a lot... it will be interesting to see what her weight is...
just saw a Tupperware ad haven't seen it advertised forever...
actually got in 2 and a part of 1/2 rows on my Swedish Weave...
had to laugh on Thanksgiving day I told my granddaughter her afghan was about 1/2 through... my dd reminded me that her sons didn't have theirs yet... I replied that I knew that I just hadn't talked to either of the boys to see what colors they would like... I guess when I finish granddaughter's I will have to start on her oldest son's afghan now to catch up with him and see what color's he wants
you all have a great day

Sheila, he said he checked everything out that it could be and he said it was definitely the fuel pump. He seems to really know his stuff (he's the owner). I asked him about the random windshield wipers and door locks not working and he said to fix all that would cost over $1200! I guess I can put up with all that for awhile.

I got a text today from my old manager and the general manager, asking me to work this afternoon at the shop I used to work at in Palm Desert. I told them both that I didn't have a car today. They are so shorthanded and have several new stylists who are not very dependable, so they are desperate to fill shifts. They keep scheduling me for the 9 hour shifts and then expect me to fill in on other days too. I am totally wiped out (physically and mentally) after a 9 hour shift especially when it is really busy, and I just can't do more than 3 days a week.

Need to remember rabbits at midnight! Hopefully, I can stay awake til then.
