Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Happy Halloween!

Boo!

Have been in New Mexico for the last four days and will be in Tucson for the winter. Not traveling this year, but will be checking out areas for possibly finding someplace to live.

That's it from me. Eat as much candy as you want, I'd you want.

Hi Cheryl, interesting what you are doing this winter. There is a small community outside the city, but still has a city address. I can’t remember the name. I stayed there once, quite awhile ago. No big developments in this area. All small private homes, quite rural. Even dirt roads. I was really impressed with the area. I will give it some thought to see if I can give you more information. Good morning Cheryl & all!

Cheryl, my sister & bil in NC are in the market for an RV and one of the ones that is on the top of their list is the Grande Design and I told them about the issues you've been having. Right now, they're in Goshen Indiana looking at a Brinkley prototype that they were contacted about. I'm looking forward to hearing from them about that one.

Lyn, you just snuck in! I'm sure your daughter will enjoy your weather a lot more than what she's experiencing in the north east and hope you both have a good while she is there.

All is well here in central FL. There are a few things going on here for Halloween for both the kids and adults. There is a haunted trail for those that have golf carts.

Remember Rabbits after midnight tonight or first thing in the morning.

Checking in to say Happy Halloween to everyone. I’m still trying to get settled back at home after the wonderful Europe trip with my daughter followed by the ablation procedure in the hospital. I’m so far behind in catching up with what all of you are doing. Won’t be doing anything special here for Halloween. It’s usually fairly quiet in my neighborhood.

Stay safe and watch out for gremlins!

Sandi, I neglected to say how happy I am that your procedure went well and hope it does what the doctors want. I loved the pictures you posted of your trip with your daughter. Some of them took my breathe away, so I can only imagine what you saw in person!

Irmi~ I would still recommend Grand Design. Their customer service can't be beat. And the first three I had were great. I'm kind of kicking myself because Dad always used to say don't buy the first model year of anything, and I didn't remeber that until to late. I may go back to the prior model i had, but I have been looking at other manufacturers in my travels, And haven't found anything as good yet.

Lyn, yes if you remember the name of the community or area, let me know. I'm open to location, but I think I'm going to start looking in the Fountain area first. But if I don't find anything I like, Tennessee will be next in my list. Minimal snow there (but they do get some tornadoes, but every state has something bad)no state personal tax, and close enough to drive into IL to see family.

Got home from work a little while ago. It was a slow day which was nice. I think I only did 6 haircuts in 9 hours!

I stopped at the library on the way home and then I stopped at the Halloween party in the park. It was dark out by then so I really couldn't see who was there (street party) so I just grabbed some left over appetizers on the table, listened to a guy playing a guitar and singing for a bit and then came home.

Now I need to find the energy and motivation to work my butt off for the next 4 days and get this place finished! :o . The temps will be in the low 70's all week so I can keep the windows open and get the fresh air moving thru.

Happy Halloween and don't forget to say "RABBITS!"
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I have been in an Urgent Care and Emergency Room all day with my son. His foot and ankle were swollen and red and he was in a lot of pain. I dropped my motorhome at the shop and went to the urgent care with him. They diagnosed cellulitis. They though he should go to an ER to get an ultra sound to make sure he didn't have a blood clot. That was an all afternoon circus. I'll be lucky if I don't catch something. It was dark by the time I got back to Abbeville and I started worrying about the kids trick or treating. There aren't a lot of light on some of the streets. I was glad to get home. I have a meetup meal Wednesday but don't think I will go. I hate having to come back from Lafayette in the dark.

Cheryl, good luck on finding a place you like. Harold and I looked at land in Texas, North of Dallas and Ft Worth. It was always in December when we went to the Futurity. Louisiana is so green and in North Texas everything was dead for the winter. My grandmother moved to Louisiana from the New Mexico dust bowl and she never got over how green Louisiana was. We would never have moved as long as his mother was alive. I don't like the storms here but don't know where I would move to.

I do my Swedish Weave in the addition that has no heat cause of the pellet stove not lighting... did a half row today close to 5:20 or so I went to start supper... came in later with some of the food (that is where we eat ate at) and the pellet stove was lite... now nothing has changed the thermostat was were it was no one had touched it... looked in the room a few moments ago and it was going still... well again as it reached the set temp... just shaking my head... we have a repair person coming on Friday and think we will keep that see why it didn't lite and then it did...
I finally tackled an area in my room keep a couple of bins with stuff in it... dug out my heated throw and found a skein of yarn so I can make the scarf longer and still fringe it... put bags in they are ones that I use when I go visit so on the top so if I get to go anywhere I can get to them quickly went through an area on the bookshelf that I can't get to the books (due to the bins  ) so wrote them down in my notebook took the ones out that were part of a series... a couple of them was really glad to see I didn't know that they were there....anyway it was just busy work but something that I wanted to do...
was going to make breakfast for supper but decided that I wasn't in the mood so did chili dogs...
far cry from french toast ect
didn't do anything for Halloween did get a small bag of candy for the grand nieces but they didn't even come didn't turn on the outside light just wasn't wanting to get up and answer the door so didn't I really think last year there wasn't anyone either and did turn on the light...
I'm glad Barbie mentioned Rabbits here's hoping I remember at 12
shouldn't have gotten started watching this movie it's another one I don't remember...
you all have a great day
