Another computer geek / geekess question?

Do you all use laptops when camping or do any of you have a monitor & hard drive system? And this so dumb, but won't the monitor & hard drive system still pick up wireless internet like a laptop? I have a laptop & havent' had a problem getting on line in CG's. DH just bought a whole system with monitor, hard drive, printer, yada yada yada... We are planning to go to FL for a month the 10th of Nov & he's all freaked out that he won't be able to use his computer. His will still pick up wireless won't it? Does anyone need a husband? I've got one I'll sell real cheap. He is slightly used & not much for RV'ing though. And no returns!!!

If it's a new computer he shouldn't have any problems. Some older computers whether laptops or desk models, don't have the wireless installed. I don't know of any new ones that don't unless you have it made that way.

Hey, if he isn't RV-broken by now, forget it.

I take a laptop, try to go to parks that offer wireless. If that doesn't work, I scope out a coffee shop or something nearby that has wireless access.

we bought an adapter that can be connected to a regular PC so it can pick up wireless internet. Got it at BestBuy. It works most of the time, but you have to be close enough to the tower to pick up the signal. It is a Belkin and it plugs into USB port not expensive

re: needing a husband,.... haha.... been there and done that x2,.... don't expect to do it again. especially one that doesn't like to go camping!.... ACK!
