Morning All, another cool sunny day. More balcony time planned. Evie, I understand your frustration with shopping. Curbside grocery pickup has been a blessing for me. I bought a folding cart from Amazon, used it to move in the apartment and now use to get groceries from cart to apartment. I am now a master cart wheeler. Just read that the people who pick your curbside order and load in your car should be tipped. I haven’t in the past but will in the future. I was eleven, took Moms grocery list walked to store, filled the grocery cart, paid for the order and they delivered it to my house. I was allowed to buy one paragraph of cookies and six Pepsi. I wasn’t suppose to but always stopped at Edith’s house on my way home. Lol memories. Be safe

Good morning. 52 this morning 76 for high today. Yesterday we got up to 92, sheesh. Going to vacuum today, maybe not all the rooms LOL I have a big house (1900sq ft) with lots of carpet. We will see how pushing the big vacuum works then can use my robot vacuum for a few weeks.

Evie I do some drive up grocery pickup now and so far works pretty good. We are not allowed to tip them. I dont do it all the time but when I was having my breathing issues it was a god send. I do remember shopping at some stores and then getting a number to drive up and they would have your cart there and load your groceries,,,,wow you are right those were the good old days,

I probably wont be ordering online anymore as I havent had any issues breathing while shopping. I feel very good which is a relief for sure. Not sure why but I will take it. Was probably those nasty antibiotics. Messed with my stomach and sleep....weird. Glad I only had to take them for 7 days. I do my Pulmonary function test on Oct 11th finally. But glad it was postponed as I am breathing so much better now. So should score higher.

I don't remember ever going to a grocery store with my mother. My dad did all the grocery shopping because he shopped on base. Mother had to do it sometimes because he was out of the country several times. She must have gone when we were in school. I went to Walmart yesterday and was surprised they had 4 check out lanes open and the store wasn't very crowded. I never want to go to Lowe's after I have been to Walmart so I went to Lowe's first. Got my potting soil which is still in the car. I was just wandering around and picked up 2 pool noodles in case I go swimming again. We'll see if I can find them next summer. Passed by the filters and got some for the kitchen sink filter. I'm not sure that does much good. Found something to attach to the gutter to keep it from washing the dirt away. I wanted a filter for my refrigerator but they didn't have any GE ones. Maybe I'll remember I want one the next time I order something from Amazon.

I have already been to town twice today. This morning I went and got my hair cut. The deli had meat ball stew for lunch so picked up a lunch. If you go early enough sometimes you get a left over biscuit for your bread. I make two meals out of their lunch and I have a biscuit for breakfast. :P This afternoon I was going to cut Sugar's yard and a cable broke on the push mower. My neighbor was passing so I got him to help me put it in the truck and I brought it to the shop. They told me they have 30 mowers to be fixed so it might be a while. Since it quit raining every day the grass isn't growing so fast.

I forgot I have an appointment to get my next booster shot at 1:00 on Friday. My smart sister said I was wasting my time taking the shots and I should just cancel. I though about rescheduling the shot but we will just be late to the campground. Her whole bunch is sick all the time and I haven't been sick in months. Thank goodness she is going in her car and I don't have to try to get down her road.

The high today is 87 and it's suppose to be in the 60's tonight. Feels much better than 97.

Better day than I expected today. It is still foggy, but not quite as much, and not rainy, though that will come in the early hours of the morning. I drove the very short distance to the dump station and dumped my tank and added fresh water to my tank, so I am OK until I leave on Thursday morning. I have my COVID booster scheduled for Thursday late morning at the Walmart on my way, so will do that and pick up some groceries. Only need to drive 150 miles to next stop, so lots of time to stop on the way.

I was awake most of the night so slept in this morning. I fell asleep at 1 am and slept two hours, but then was awake until 8 am--very frustrating. Made a loaf of bread last night, so just had a nice ham sandwich on it. Rest of bread is frozen for tomorrow to keep it fresh.

did more today than yesterday not saying much but did get out and get RX and a few grocery's more than the milk and bread which was all I was going to get... :o my husband would always say I thought you were just going to get milk?? well that was the plan...but cruised by the deli and thought something easy for supper so got turkey salad and orange chicken supper tonight and tomorrow so had to go back and get a croissant saw banana's and got them and onions just in case but had some here oh well they keep... if all goes as planned I will leave on Friday to brother's for weekend and then monday go to SD for driver's license renewal and back to his house on Tuesday stop at wallyworld for all those things that I deem necessary some are some not so much just need to re do my list as I think I tossed it away it was in amongst the list of what to take to Alaska... and it got tossed might go looking there...
one thing I did get at Costco so can scratch it off the list 200 garbage liners should last us awhile :o
I did snag one of the motorized carts so far where I shop at they are easy to come by but understand what you were saying pooker... we can drive them out to the car and as I was loading up the car one of the guys that works there came by and asked if I was through with it said yes and he took it away...
I was totally shocked at the scooter place when I went to return it they said just to take it where our ride was and he would come get it didn't ask for any thing just had me put the stub in the basket...haven't heard from them so assume that they got it and it actually was gone before we were... I had hopes that it wasn't just snagged by someone .... I guess after a week if it wasn't accounted for I would have heard about it... even when I picked it up gave her my name she showed me which one had my name on it... didn't even ask for id really weird...
those were the days when you had either a place to pick up your groceries or the bag boy would push your cart out and load the car and take it back... that was normal in one of the stores in Idaho till pre Covid I don't know if it has returned or not...
I have discovered that the go with you oxygen doesn't raise your level that well... it works on breathing in I have also found I breath a lot through my mouth I think that it doesn't help me get oxygen I test it when I got home and before I put on the long hose it was having a hard time hanging out at 86 87 now the dr told me I could be off oxygen if it was that but that was with oxygen :o so really hoping I will do better at breathing through the nose when driving
my order did come not overly excited with it the material seems thin one looks small although the right size one is marked small  I think several will get donated can't see it worth my time to return them there wasn't even a packing slip or perhaps I over looked it... the one that was marked small is one I really liked...bummer...
dd closed on her house today yea for her!!!
you all have a great day

I have been busy all day working on my bedroom. I got my nightstands cleaned and organized and my dresser top too. Then on to the books...I went thru the ones on my bookshelf and the 3 upper cabinets. About half of them are getting donated, and the rest I will keep. Quite a few, I haven't read yet. I still have the bins full of books under the bed to go thru yet... A project for Thursday. And then go thru my clothes.

Romeow is now on my dresser trying to get in the aquarium to get Karma.

Back to work tomorrow afternoon. Thursday, I need to take my neighbor lady to a doctor appointment, then take stuff to the thrift store, food shelf, and hopefully, the library will take the books. I want to finish my gourd spirit doll this week too. Almost done. Found some more bins for my gourd stuff. Not much left to organize for that. Supposed to be a little cooler with less humidity next week and I have 4 days off so I can start in on the porch. With a little lower temps I can close it all up in the morning and open the slider to the living room and get the AC to blow in there to keep it cool all day so will be more comfortable to work on cleaning and organizing. I am making good progress so far! Feels good to get rid of all this extra stuff finally! :D

Made some cookies for my bedtime snack.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
