I set my alarm for the middle of the night last night and did watch part of the funeral, at least the procession. Then fell asleep and woke up a couple more times, each time watching a bit of everything. Saw more of it this evening to fill in the holes.
This morning, I got up late, but went into town to dump my tanks--no dump station here in campground but there is one in town. Then got a few groceries, and did two big loads of laundry. Came back and folded and hung the shirts up that I pulled out of the dryers before they were dry. I like to stretch my shirts lengthwise before they are dry and hang them up to dry in my motorhome so they don't bake in the dryers. I even got my vacuum cleaner out today!! Need to wash windows tomorrow because of the salt spray.
I also have been trying to get rid of stuff. I looked at a photo taken of me a couple of weeks ago and realized that I was wearing clothes that were too baggy on me. (A telling thing is that some of my shorts fall down if I put stuff in my pockets!
) I had lost weight after my 2018 trip to the UK, but gained a lot of it back, but only after buying a bunch of new shorts. So I had these smaller things packed away, and they were almost new, so in last couple of days, I have tried on all my current things and got rid of a bunch. I dug out the smaller size things, and they fit fine. Now I just have to be careful not to gain the weight back. So far, doing OK on that. I really have far too many shorts and tops. Got rid of some tops also, and need to get rid of more. I have lost 40 pounds in last 10 years since I have been on the road, I think mostly from being more active than I was sitting in an office. Getting rid of baggy things will encourage me to keep the weight off, but I think I have overall done well over 10 years. And I look better in clothes that fit me!! (I dropped one size about 6 years ago, and now have dropped another size.)
Tomorrow I am going for a beach walk. First two days I was here, I was worn out and sleep deprived, but feeling a lot better now, so time to do some walking.
Just read Sheila's post, and sorry to hear about son-in-law's fall.
