Mornin' ladies~~~
Popping in and starting MC since it was more like afternoon tea yesterday. It's a travel day for me. Only 3 hours to way southern Indiana, only 18 miles from the Kentucky border.

Been pretty bored here. Guess it's good that I got here near Lake Shafer Indiana 2 days late. Only thing I did was go to Wolf Park.

That's my Itty bitty news. Have a good day everyone. Karen glad you're getting an appetite back.

P.S. it's talk like a pirate day today. Aarrrgh ya ready? ;)

Morning Cheryl and All, temps still in 80’s so humidity still here. Looking ahead to Saturday and temps drop to low 70’s so guess Autumn will arrive. Strawberry plants still growing but no fruit that’s because two blue jays have been raiding my pot. Who would think they would find the second floor strawberry plants. I went to my favorite garden center, bought a spider plant, a Rex begonia and 6 lettuce plants. I ask my carpenter son to build a plant stand for the Boston fern and he said buy one and I will pay. So I ordered the wrought iron stand I really wanted. Lol #2 daughter found a nice $2 plant stand but fern is too big and heavy so will use it for another plant. Was thinking maybe we could have a plant swap in the pavilion at the apartment complex.
Karen, such good news, keep up the good work. Beth, glad you gave conditions up front for agreeing to return next year. Everyone be safe.

I made it back from the campout yesterday. We all had a good time so it will probably be scheduled again for next September. I only went swimming once but some of the ladies got too much sun. My son and his girlfriend came Saturday to swim and stayed for some of the music. Our cool weather left and my air conditioner was having a hard time keeping up on Saturday. It makes a big difference not having shade. I had a big fan that I had blowing on Sugar. It would cool off at night and we had a campfire every night. The first two nights the campfire was nice but Saturday night the party animals showed up and the music was too loud to hear anyone talk.

I got the food and clothes unloaded and started washing. I was thinking about going to mow in Maurice but I have a meetup meal tonight. We aren't suppose to have rain this week so hopefully I can go tomorrow. It's already 92 and suppose to be in the upper 90's all week.

All the cat were here when I got home except Inky. That's the cat that was missing for months. He's gone again. I would like to know where he goes. There is a new orange and white cat that comes to eat. It's a small cat so probably young. He takes off if he sees me.

Karen, glad you are feeling better and your appetite is coming back. I eat about like a 6 year old, too much junk.

We were lucky also and got rain last night. I dont know how much but everything was wet this morning. Just got back from my eye doc and eye injections so not too much will be going on here today.

Time to get a bit of lunch even tho I dont feel too hungry yet. I will eat something.

Getting ready for bed here and thought I would jump in before falling asleep.

They scalped the lawns across the street today, so they will probably get this side tomorrow. I guess that takes care of any plans I had to do outdoor stuff on the deck, etc. I have everything covered in a large tarp on the deck for now.

My car has been starting on the first try the past couple days but now the windshield wipers are back to coming on randomly. People must wonder when they see me driving down the road on a sunny day with my wipers going back and forth! :?

I made it thru a long 9 hour day today. Not very busy tho but my back was hurting some anyways. Also woke up this morning with vertigo but I did the exercise I learned on-line awhile back and it worked to stop it, luckily.

Beth, do you think the crew you have now will return next year? That would be nice!

I have the next two days off so will try to get up early and get some stuff done. I haven't heard yet if Dave will be coming by to put in my microwave tomorrow. I want to go thru each room again and downsized a lot more. I need to be ruthless about it!

Romeow has decided that chasing a ping pong ball in the bathtub is boring, and chasing a fish on a string is oh, so boring! Now he is just getting into and onto everything else around here.

Anyone heard from Sheila at all? I hope she is having fun!

Have a good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

we got back today however I am so tired that I'm not going to talk cruise tonight just simply checking in
right now I am at my dd's (my youngest one who just moved to this area) home... #3 dd and I will stay till probably Friday and return to the intermountain west
my oxygen level was much better while at sea level will see what it goes to in the higher altitude
oh a quick note
those scheduled to go was my # 1 dd and hubby my #2 dd and hubby and # 3 dd and myself as well as my son and his wife... my # 3 dd and I drove so left Friday about 7 stopped at nephews in Caldwell Id and on to # 4 dd house Sat after we got here dd called her son to tell him that we were here... and we got the news oh my # 2 dd's husband fell 40 feet off his roof one of those last minute things that he wanted to do before he left  fortunately he survived and isn't paralyzed. but he broke both ankles his right leg his sternum and a couple spots in his back .... full recovery is expected... although I'm sure he is always going to "feel" it and I can't even imagine the jarring that his body took with that fall... he has been building a new house this summer and just had to get up one more time needless to say they didn't make the cruise and were so missed but we also were so blessed as it could have been so much worse... did talk with son in law tonight and he is sounding so much stronger than we expected... he has fewer lives than 9 now :o I'm not sure what his is down to... but again we so blessed...
I will try to mention some of the trip tomorrow...

I set my alarm for the middle of the night last night and did watch part of the funeral, at least the procession. Then fell asleep and woke up a couple more times, each time watching a bit of everything. Saw more of it this evening to fill in the holes.

This morning, I got up late, but went into town to dump my tanks--no dump station here in campground but there is one in town. Then got a few groceries, and did two big loads of laundry. Came back and folded and hung the shirts up that I pulled out of the dryers before they were dry. I like to stretch my shirts lengthwise before they are dry and hang them up to dry in my motorhome so they don't bake in the dryers. I even got my vacuum cleaner out today!! Need to wash windows tomorrow because of the salt spray.

I also have been trying to get rid of stuff. I looked at a photo taken of me a couple of weeks ago and realized that I was wearing clothes that were too baggy on me. (A telling thing is that some of my shorts fall down if I put stuff in my pockets! :o ) I had lost weight after my 2018 trip to the UK, but gained a lot of it back, but only after buying a bunch of new shorts. So I had these smaller things packed away, and they were almost new, so in last couple of days, I have tried on all my current things and got rid of a bunch. I dug out the smaller size things, and they fit fine. Now I just have to be careful not to gain the weight back. So far, doing OK on that. I really have far too many shorts and tops. Got rid of some tops also, and need to get rid of more. I have lost 40 pounds in last 10 years since I have been on the road, I think mostly from being more active than I was sitting in an office. Getting rid of baggy things will encourage me to keep the weight off, but I think I have overall done well over 10 years. And I look better in clothes that fit me!! (I dropped one size about 6 years ago, and now have dropped another size.)

Tomorrow I am going for a beach walk. First two days I was here, I was worn out and sleep deprived, but feeling a lot better now, so time to do some walking.

Just read Sheila's post, and sorry to hear about son-in-law's fall.
