Morning all. We are starting out with sunshine and 62°. Supposedly we are supposed to have some showers and thunderstorms this afternoon which would be fine as we can use it.

Nothing exciting going on here. Still changing the dressing on my one dermatology biopsy that I had done all week ago And I am also nursing a sore shoulder. I put three bags of Riverstone in my truck and I must have picked up just a tad bit wrong, because I got a really sharp pain in my right shoulder which was really bad. Wound up having to go to my chiropractor for some treatment by the afternoon. It is feeling better than it was but I have to have another treatment done on Monday. So I am not doing anything that will put any strain on it. I don’t really have much going on here right now anyway because my yard is holding it’s own and I have all of my summer stuff put away. Wanted to get that done before I leave for my trip and another week although there is a possibility that that may get canceled. The biopsy results are back and I will find out Monday where it goes from here. If it is going to require a little MOHS surgery or something, it will depend on when they want to schedule it. From what I have been reading of the fall color reports that I follow, some areas up there I have been very dry and the fall color is coming in very dull and not lasting very long. So if I have to cancel it won’t be a major loss. We shall see.

Oh Sharon, hope your painting went OK yesterday. I know you’ll be glad to get that done. Karen, I’m sorry you are feeling so lousy. Hopefully maybe this change in medication will help. That is frustrating when one can’t do anything. And Velda I hope that you continue to improve. Hope Shelia is enjoying her cruise. And Martha I hope you are enjoying your camp out. You are probably the most active one of us, as far as camping is concerned, not counting the full timers.

This article was in our local paper yesterday, and I thought I would throw it in here for any of you who might be interested in reading about it. This mobile home park is where I have been helping with the majority of the volunteer work that those of us who are classified as unskilled volunteers are able to do. The biggest accomplishment that I really feel happy about, is getting that playground that they mentioned, up and running for the children and their parents. It felt really good to be at that party on Saturday watching the kids play. As of now Habitat does not have any projects that need volunteers, so I think we are done out there. Any left need the skilled volunteers like builders and plumbers, electricians etc. The town are progressing very well as home are being torn down and newnew homes are going up. There is a bit of a sense of urgency because winter will be here before long. It seems like this past month things have really taken off. The demolition crew that took down the Hobby Lobby building is now in the process of tearing out the cement slab that the building sat on. So hopefully construction of the new building can start before winter sets in. If they can at least get it up and then close that would be good but we shall see. Some of us at the party were saying that it was probably good that FEMA did not have to step in because we are able to progress at our own pace and I think we are doing a better job. The tornado relief fund has raised up to $1.4 million so far.

So I am off take a shower and get cleaned up and see what I’m going to get into. I do have a little dirty stick in a couple of pots, so I probably will do that this morning and wzter my plants. If mother nature decides to rain it will be a bonus. Have a great day off.

It is a chilly 49 here this morning, feels so good outside. Didnt stay long just took the dog out Feeling pretty good so far this morning, minimal coughing and no issues catching my breath. Now I am not doing much yet but it is a good start to my day.

Need to work on my grocery list for the week. I have been having an appetite the last couple of days so that makes me happy. Maybe I will have gained some weight, will find out Monday.

Very weak internet at Tillicum Campground so I am in town getting some things done. I somehow am missing my camera and think it is in one of the hotels I stayed in or the rental car, so made some phone calls, but hotels housekeepping is not in today and apparently they keep the lost and found, so will have to call back Monday.

After a week of very little sleep, I got 10 hours last night, but I am still tired. Have not gone out to the beach at all today, even though I can see the ocean and am very close to the beach entrance. Just too lazy., Will go out tomorrow.
