Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday September 4th~Eat an Extra Dessert Day

Postby IrishIroamed » Sun Sep 04, 2022 5:31 am

Mornin' ladies~~~
For today's topic, it gives you an excuse to indulge. Extra bowl of ice cream Shirl? I'm up early. Body still on EST. Knew this one week on Central would mess me up.

Back home in Illinois as of yesterday. Rained like crazy when I got here. Got the itty bitty things on my list fixed for the camper at the rally. One nice thing was that there were so many techs from the factory there, including their traveling teams. Thankfully I planned on heading back to Indiana after Illinois, because I have an appointment there because my slide "needs some love".

That's my itty bitty from the Chitown burbs. Enjoy your extra dessert.
Cheryl

Morning Cheryl and All. Cheryl, I like your calendar. Lol. No ice cream but do have a piece of my favorite cake in the freezer. It’s a holiday weekend so a good excuse. No plans so will just window shop on Amazon. I add things to my wish list and then next week will delete it because I changed my mind. :D Be safe

A lot of my days are eat an extra dessert day. Cheryl, it looks like you had a really good rally.

I am so sick of all this rain. It started about noon yesterday and rained lightly until this afternoon.

I will sure be happy to get my Apple computer back. I can only type on this HP with two fingers or my post will disappear.

I worked by myself today for a couple hours. My manager called out sick so another manager was able to come in at noon to help me. The WM greeter lady said it seems like I have been working every day lately. It sure feels like it! We are closed tomorrow. I work the afternoon shift on Tuesday and then have the rest of the week off, so that will be good. Lots to do to get caught up around here. I will be taking my Jeep in on Wednesday to get fixed (hopefully!)

Have been working on painting the gourd doll. Almost done with the paint but there are several accessories to put on it after that that require some time and effort. I think it will look pretty cool when it is done. Something very different, but good experience for me. I was given a book in Quartzsite a few years ago, from a camping neighbor who did gourd art, that was about making gourd dolls, but I didn't think I would ever make one so I gave it away not long ago. Oh, well, I am figuring it out as I go (Google is helpful!)

Romeow was nuts this morning! :o He was doing zoomies all over the house, up and over my bed, around the bed, back down the hall, up on my nightstand (knocking everything onto the floor), pouncing on me, attacking my feet, and back to more zoomies! This went on for almost 2 hours before I got up for work! I was getting worn out just watching him! I don't know where he gets the energy. Probably from all the food he is chowing down! . I still think he is only about a year old. He is full grown but his body is filling out more. His face still looks a little kitten-like. Year old cats look thinner and their legs look too long which is what he looked like when I got him but now he has more of a normal cat build. He sure has the energy of a kitten!

Nothing planned for tonight. Will get the laundry figured out tomorrow, hopefully! Otherwise I will just work on the gourd doll. I just saw a sign at the front gate about a potluck tomorrow evening here. I will have to figure out something easy to bring to share. I am always up for free food! And extra dessert is always a given with me!

My back is sore today. I bought a lumbar pillow that has a massage feature so maybe that will help some. My heating pad works good too. My wrist is better now.

Have a good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Update—this noon my ac was making some noises but them seemed fine so I went so sons house for dinner. Got back home around 8 pm and Rv was really hot and ac blowing out hot air from outside. Tried several things then decided to spend noght at sons house. I am hoping I still leave Tuesday morning but need to this fixed first. Am waiting for callback from CoachNet now. Going to ask them where I can find mobile repairman. Was 194 today and supposed to be 108 tomorrow!!!

Glad kids have spare bedroom!!

Judy! Really 194? It was only 107 here! prediction here for Monday and Tuesday is 112°!
We stayed in to keep house closed to keep heat out and cool in!
Spent time in my craft area, detaching new dies from their frames and mounting on magnet sheets, so I'm ready to cut.Finished last load of laundry and all put away.

Velda, you gotta admit that it certainly felt like 194 (but it was a dry heat. . ., thank goodness  ).

Anne, dry indeed! I saw humidity between 18-19% all yesterday though this morning it's 28% but already 94° and on its way to 112°! Sure hope they are right and we drop below 100° during next weekend, because this week will be brutal!

I have to admit I laughed out loud at that typo. :) That said, we expect highs in the upper 60's to 70's here for September. 90 plus everyday is only ok because it definitely cools off overnight and mornings are great.
