Good morning to All, Just wanted to share sunrise with you

I took the picture with my new phone. Still learning to use it. And wondering how I managed to put my email on it - didn't mean to do that. Also managed to add and remove a few thing I didn't mean too. Got it Tuesday and the clerk set it up for me more or less. But I was back there to the store yesterday with a list of questions - guess he has dealt with old ladies before as he was very patient with me. When he set it up he had to use my gmail account which I'd forgot I even had. So of course I had no idea what the pass word was. He just put in a line of numbers as password and told me to change it when I got home....Yah! Well it also changed all the passwords for anything google I use - like my blog...etc, etc. So that was fun. Hopefully this is the last phone I will ever need. I think I have every thing working again.
Still no word from Bill's doctor - guess we wait until we see him on the 12th. Bill doesn't want to keep that appointment cause it was to get the results of the test he didn't get to take. His logic is why go - mine is yes we will go to figure out what to do.
We are having unusual weather. Only about 100 degrees but lots and lots of winds and rain and humidity - dew point at 63 - so unusual for here. Except for where we live, we got the wind but no rain. A few blocks from us it was flooding and the streets were closed. Will stay like this for the next week. Thus the pretty sunrise.
Have a great day every one.

Afternoon Carol and All, Went to Bjs wholesale for curbside and humidity is brutal. Shelia, thought of your mom. Don’t know what the humidity level is in your house but high humidity can make us old timers lethargic. I have a little humidity gage sitting on the desk and keep the level around 50-53. This means ac is set at 74°. If I’m moving around I’m fine but sitting still I need a sweater. Do what I have to do to breath comfortably. If I owned this apartment I would have a large dehumidifier. The highlight of my day is a plump rotisserie chicken. Will be staying home for the next few days. Be safe

Good morning gals! Carol, those photos are beautiful!!

I slept in late this morning because I could! :D Romeow has been playing with his orange mouse, his favorite toy! Now he is watching "As The Fish Swims", his favorite "show". (Now he has the "litterbox" zoomies! )

The dewpoint now is at 57* so am hoping it feels better outside and I can do some work out there today. It has been cloudy off and on the past few days but no rain. The mountains got rain the other day but it didn't get down this way.

My stomach is growling so I better go find some breakfast. Have a good day!

Carol, thank you for the sunrise pictures. I am seldom up early enough to see the sunrise. I'm sure everyone is as tired of hearing this as I am, it's storming again. It's mostly scattered showers but a big one is parked over me. I went to look out the door about the time a big thunder clap happened and the cats on the porch decided to come in. The electrical things were acting funny. The house phone kept just ringing once and I couldn't get the computer to connect to the internet.

Probably won't be doing much today. I have a meetup meal tonight. It's at a relatively new restaurant. The building they opened up in doesn't have a very good reputation for success. I can't name all the restaurants that have opened in that building and didn't last. It's on one of the main corners in Lafayette and in front of the mall so don't know why businesses can't make it. The mall isn't doing as well as it use to either. My friend that I use to shop with moved to New Orleans and I don't have the energy to hike all over the mall.

Gorgeous pictures Carol. I'm getting the rain here also, with it cooler temps. But our nights we're already cool and days much cooler than those highs you've been experiencing.

My new office person arrives tomorrow. The new housekeeper called yesterday to come today (a couple days early) but had to call today because of a problem with her rig which can't be fixed until Monday morning... So she hopes to be here Monday. That works for me. I think we'll be rid of the drama. Pretty please.

Afternoon ladies
Driving the teachers yesterday for their meeting was a piece of cake but it sure put my hip in a hurt.
I guess it could be the bus seat, or it could be the moisture in the air as we've had a few sprinkles here n there. I don't know, maybe just old age and need a new hip. Aspirin usually takes care of these issues but not today. Our 4 hr back to work meeting was today. It was routine boring and pizza lunch. I sort of quit eating food like that so half a piece was enough. Tomorrow is route bid day, should get my same route but ya never know what a seniority driver will choose ahead of you. Supposedly we got a big raise but haven't pulled up my work email to check yet.
Nothing else new, door is open for fresh air and Patrick likes hanging out on the deck. He whimpers gently to come back in. He can do that 5" step when he wants to but most of the time makes me pick him up. He has me well trained.
Y'all have a good evening and be safe.

It is really cold here in Granby, CO, today. High was 71, but around 2 pm, it started to rain really hard and just recently stopped, so that dropped the temps to about 60 and now it is 50, so I got my little heater out and have also turned on the rear heater in my bedroom. Carol, I hope that the temps in LV stay a little cooler because I am planning to stay there one night on August 28. Don't have a reservation yet, but will be headed from Kodachrome SP to San Clemente, CA. And I'll be back in that area in November and early December, but am not worried about the temps then. I plan to visit that nature reserve you post photos of in November.

Lazy day today spent reading and not much else. Postponed dumping my tanks because of the rain today, but I have enough space to take a shower and use the toilet tonight. Will dump it tomorrow. There are flood warnings around here, but this campground is high on a hill overlooking the lake, so no danger here.

Alice, do you have a gel seat for your bus? I have one that even has a space carved out for a sore tailbone.

Didn't do much today until about 4pm. Went outside to go thru the storage stuff out in the carport. Cleaned off a bin or two and brought them inside to go thru what was in them, sort between keep, toss and donate. Went thru all the stuff in a couple hours. Have quite a lot to donate and quite a lot of trash and just a few things to keep. Tomorrow will take trash to the dumpster and the other stuff to a thrift store nearby. Then load up bins in my car that I have already packed up from before that I can take to the new storage unit on Saturday.

Just hanging out tonight watching Paranormal Caught on Tape. :o Have a good night!

I wish we did have a problem with high humidity well not too high  just checked the phone to see what it was and was expecting it to be like 20 or so... but it's actually 69 which is high for the area we are in and the temp is 64 maybe we will get rain.... but at 15 percent chance not holding my breath.. but our humidity is normally like at 20 or lower or higher.... and no A/C it's just the summer we had our heat early and lasting longer... the mountain sides are starting to get brown.. and that is also earlier than normal which stands to reason it's hot no rain of course the mountain sides are going to start going brown..
it sounds like things are looking up Beth worker wise....it always surprises me when you aren't very hot there possibly due to altitude keep going to suggest but haven't cause I can't remember the name of the town... and don't know if it's south of you or north of you... but there is a town where they take there cinnamon rolls seriously  like every store practically has their own signature cinnamon rolls... I guess if I thought of it I'd go looking at the atlas
good luck Judy with getting your tires fixed and the grey water tank flowing as it should
I am not sure what I did not much for sure nephew picked up the screen door and attempted to put it in can't get it to move smoothly and stay in the track not sure if the problem is the door or the track...
Carol almost forgot to mention your sunrise photo's very pretty.... I rarely see them except through those that do  I guess some saw the northern lights the other night up in the park saw a picture of it on FB
you all have a great day

Sheila, I didn't know Parowan included that in their claim for fame. (Gotta love Google!). I've driven through but not stopped. It's now on my list to get there. Thanks.
