Tuesday July 19

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday July 19

Morning All, another day another evening storm, hot and humid. Had Cobb salad last night with 3 strawberries from the balcony garden. They were little but sweet. Today will do a couple loads of laundry and pay bills. Luckily the bills are do at the same time so only have to do this once a month. Another of those chores you don’t like but glad when it’s done. Karen, hope the doctor has a treatment for your lingering symptoms. Anita, thinking about you and hope you are doing ok. Think we are all just treading water waiting for better days. Be safe

Morning Shirl. I am sitting on the back deck sipping coffee and enjoying the cooler air 57 is perfect. However it is going to be 93 today so this outside enjoyment will be short lived LOL

I dont have any major projects going because I just dont have the energy. After being pretty immobile for several months I am now trying to do a couple chores each morning to push myself. I dont want to over do it tho. Today will vacuum the front part of the house and my bedroom with the big vacuum. I usually just use the Robot vacuum but it doesnt get the deep down dirt, mainly just picks up the top stuff. Great for a spiff tho a couple times a week.

Still have to make a grocery store run as I need some fresh veggies and fruit. Working on increasing my appetite as I dont want to lose anymore weight. So need to buy some stuff I can snack on thru the day.

Good Morning All, I have had a busy weekend. On Thursday my daughter brought over two of the greats ,and we all went swimming and then had lunch here. Saturday, my grandson and his wife came over with their daughter and little son. They brought lunch so I didn’t have to furnish it. The water was too cold for the baby and he started crying as soon as they put him in. Their daughter loves the water and had a good time in the pool.
Sunday I went over to the daughters home and spent the day visiting with her.
Last night was a very good soccer game. I am resting now. I need it!
I just do not understand people who think it is OK to destroy others property who don’t agree with them Carol. I’m sorry you lost your nice blue stripe flag.

Good morning everyone! Another triple digit temp day on its way. I think this is day 7 of 100° or higher. Even at midnight last night it was 77°!
The struggle is real for those of us with long CoVid. It's a long slow moving battle with NO Dr having solid answers, though they are trying new things and finding some success. Example, I'm having some relief from a trial of Alpha Lipoic Acid- often used for neuropathy, ESP diabetic neuropathy, in dealing with my ongoing roving bouts of numbness, tingling and muscle pain. Those with respiratory issues are having some success with NAC or Mucinex. Some are finding relief with magnesium supplements or soaks or both. Ya just gotta keep trying. I know Curves and walking (treadmill)!are helping me with stamina and strength.
I have a long to do list. Have to see how far I get with it!

Well, I think my grey tank clog is cleared, but I am spending the night in a really old, tired-looking campground across the street from a rest area along I-76. I cannot seem to avoid "adventures."

As I was driving along the freeway, I started to notice some vibration in my wheels or axles or somewhere. It got really loud and the one mirror was vibrating so badly, i could not see out of it. Plus, it was horribly hot. I was only a couple of miles from a rest area, so I put on my blinkers and slowed down. Made it off and to the rest area, which is also a welcome center for Colorado. I got out and looked at tires and my tire minder said they were all fine. I was afraid to drive, so I called CoachNet, but after much research, the best they could find was a truck repair place in Ogallah, about 30 miles east of here, and then it took another hour or so to determine that the only tow company could not come to get me for at least 4 hours, making that about 9 or 10 pm at the earliest. Plus, where would i spent the night? They could not even look at rv until tomorrow morning, so I walked across the street to this old RV park and called the number on the door--better than sitting in a parking lot, paying for a very expensive hotel room, or who know what?? Anyway, lady came out, and I brought vehicle over and got parked for $45. Full hookups but all i really care about is electric, which is working fine. So I am finally getting cool and having some no-cook dinner.

Noise was still there, but lady said it sounded like a bad wheel bearing. Anyway, I called CoachNet back and they are coming to tow me tomorrow morning at 8 am. Whew!!

I was on a roll today. I went to the bank, post office, picked up cat food at the feed store, renewed my drivers license, changed the name on the horse trailer title, picked up two cans of gas for the mower, went to Walmart and Walgreens. The DMV office was open for a change but since I had an appointment they took me ahead of about 15 people. That worked out good.

I hope we don't get the heat that Texas is having. It was 114 in Wichita Falls. It got up to 94 here and is down to 90 but there is a breeze. Sugar would like to go for a walk but she is going to have to wait a while.

Today was my son's birthday. He would have been 54. I miss him so much.

It was warm here today but had showers much of the day which brought the temperatures down to 79. We went to the Equestrian Center in Ocala. I know Cheryl has been there and that place is awesome to say the least. The stores there are very expensive but they sell only the best of the best. I'm so glad we went. We're looking through books and online trying to figure out where to go next.

I got the rows all torn out!!! think it was 56 rows... and the problem was my fault :? it still would have been unsightly so even though it will take me 28 days to get to where I was I am glad that I did it... just wish that whatever I did I didn't do
did a bit on my granddaughter's treasure box we will see tomorrow if I like it better as it is glued on need to put the mod podge on top of the cutouts...
I had a hard time getting off my bed today did breakfast read scriptures bummed out on FB for a bit then picked up the book I started last night just had to read a couple three chapters ... not sure how many I did oh and read a women's world magazine mom goes through them so fast and I am just so far behind need to try and read a couple each week or more to get caught up... my dd pays for a subscription for her... it is one thing that she will pick and and read through
(((((Martha)))))
glad you got your tank draining faster and sorry that you are having issues... hopefully it's a quick fix...
you all have a good day

I had a tired day, hard to stay moving. Another over 100° day and more of heat tomorrow. The air has been hot but at least good air quality, until tonight just after dark, I went out to add water for tomorrow to bird bath and there was a terrible smoke smell. Checked AQI and it had gone from a clean 8, all the way to 130, nasty air. Never did learn where smoke came from, but it showed on air sensor map as originating in south Sacramento, south west of us amd drifting ours way in a strange elliptical pattern. Checked later and it was disappearing, thankfully.
Judy hope they get your rig issue quickly fixed.
Have a good "hump day"!

Add my (((hugs))), Martha. We never get over losing those people we love.

Try to stay cool, everyone. Our t.v. reports say should be around 94 each day for this area. Wrong! It's at least 10 degrees hotter than that! Only 102 yesterday on my patio - must be a cool front!
