Good Morning. Beautiful morning here with a temp of 60°. Picture perfect weekend coming up.

Nice to see some people posting yesterday that we haven’t seen the while. Diane being one of them and Peggy chiming in too. Carol, hope they get to the bottom of Bill’s heart issues. Irmi, you won’t want to see hotdogs and hamburgers for awhile, after this weekend :) Our POA’s annual meeting is the end of this month and we are going to be having hotdogs and hamburgers too. I need to think of some kind of a dish to take. Karen, you and I are alike in our morning routine. I check emails, this forum and FB in the morning before I start my day, unless I have something going where I get up, have. Breakfast and get going. Tina, congrats on the big wins with Audrey.

We had some rain during the night Thursday, so I put off painting my fence posts until today and that is going to be my project as soon as I get moving here. I just bought a gallon and will go as far as I can with it. There’s more at the store  Darn stuff isn’t cheap.

So yesterday turned into a kind of take care of business type stuff, clean house and then the fellow from the electrical company came with a proposal for my generator. I am going to go with it and I will give them the deposit after the holiday here. So that project will be in my not to distant future.

Right now I had better get on my current project and get those fence post going. Have some touch up painting to do on my porch where I need to but I don’t think I will do that today. Then I can get on to doing some fun stuff. Have a great day everybody.

Hi Sue & all that check in!

Sue, I know how expensive pain is and good paint isn't cheap. For tomorrow's BBQ after church, I'm making devilled eggs and for Monday's BBQ I'm taking potato salad. And like you, I come here, check my email and check FB. I can usually easily read all three in about a half hour. Beth, I hope your new housekeeper works out.

It's raining/storming here, but that's almost a daily thing here during the hot summer days, but they don't last long. This morning we went to our local Winn Dixie to take advantage of the 4th of July BOGO on lots of meat. They are separated into a couple meals each, so we shouldn't have to shop again anytime soon. We stopped at our local Farmers Market for fresh fruit and produce.

Have a good and safe holiday weekend.

Just had lunch. It is a pleasant 68 outside. Having a quiet day. I didnt sleep well last night so think I will be turning my phone on silent and take a little siesta. I never used to be a napper but since I was sick I have learned that a nap once in a while is a good thing.

Not going anywhere this weekend. Will just stay home and read or watch some tv. I am going to make a quiche tomorrow and will take some to my neighbor, she loves my quiche. Time to clean up the kitchen and get comfy for my siesta. I didnt remember rabbits yesterday but did remember Heartworm meds.

I meant to post yesterday after I read all the others posts. Then something? Interfered and I completely forgot to post.
I Had decided to begin walking on the treadmill again. Did it for 15 minutes each Thursday and Friday. Exercise is so important for people with COPD. I felt the water jogging wasn’t giving me enough exercise. Today, just walking to the exercise room exhausted me! So I returned to my condo.
One of my grandsons has Covid again!
Judy, I really enjoyed your posts from the UK. Like I say, I’m traveling vicariously now!

Have had problems with a good cell signal last couple of days so have not posted. Am at son's condo in Sandusky, and we discovered his wife has COVID. She is now downstairs isolating. Also, we took a long boat ride and the newly-repaired boat stopped because of problems with motor so we ended having to get towed home!!! So what else can go wrong???

Anyway, son just tested negative and no one else has symptoms, so I think I am going to head back to campground. They may drive home tonight because they have a bigger house in Aurora and DIL can move into the basement bedroom and have her own bathroom down there--more space to isolate than here.

Going to make one last blog post describing positives and negatives of my trip. ALso, two more doctor appointments and then headed to Michigan for three days and finally heading west. Good to be on the road again.

it sure doesn't take long to spend money went to Ace's got stuff for the treasure box and lights left more than I expected then on to the store spent even more and it wasn't really a lot think I will go and read the receipt so where it all went to the corn was good have seen a video on putting corn still in it's husk into the microwave then you chop off the base end and squeeze it out and it comes out free of the strings... and it did come out clean or fairly clean... but it was really hard to cut off the end of the corn now this could be because the knives were not sharp or I didn't cut it down far enough they said 1 inch I am sure I didn't do that or it could be a combo of the two... :o the corn was so good... stopped at the post office on the way was going to put it in the outside box but pick up was 2:30 not 3 like I thought...it was about 2:55 so parked the car went inside to put it in the box heard something so hoping they went out at this time then has I was driving away the lady was getting the mail out of the box... oh well pretty sure it went it's the Spectrum bill I was concerned about getting it to wherever by the 7th with a holiday weekend .
came home and put stuff away and fixed supper one of those do as little as possible the heat up bbq beef in the hogi buns cut up some cucumbers green pepper and oh shoot for the tomatoes..!!!! also some grapes and cherries... tomorrow will do pecan crusted salmon baked potato green beans and those Red Lobster cheese biscuits have a box of the mix... now to decide if I want to shuffle stuff in the A/F or not so much of it's in the oven the A/F won't handle it all at one time so oven might win... although I've been wondering how Salmon would work in the A/F and I do love baked potatoes in A/F  it's the biscuits that I wonder how to fit it into the timing.... perhaps baked then biscuits then salmon but don't want the potatoes to get cold for the two thinking it would take about 1/2 hour oh well will come up with something... can always do the biscuits and salmon in the oven and the potatoes in the A/F
or all in the oven  which makes the most sense
Irmi your sides sound great... been wanting potato salad might do it Monday in a way I wished we had something planned but the Idaho kids haven't said anything about doing anything I'm sure that it is mostly going to be work on the house....I hope they get the exterior up so they can do the inside stuff in the winter... I think they thought it would be where they would be living in it by fall but sometimes it doesn't fall into place as one had hoped....
Paint is expensive but I guess all stuff is going up my dd is putting her house on the market they plan on moving to WA hoping they can find a house there...
Was it Diane that asked if we were keeping up with Kerry??? I do of course I am so pleased with her recovery a year an half ago she could hardly walk now she is walking and working and doing very well...
Take care Lyn when adding more exercise do it slowly
you all have a great day
