I have been getting cards from quite a few of the Sistahs. And I just wanted to say "THANK YOU ALL" so much for the cards!!!!! They really, really mean a lot to me.

I meant to bring them down with me or at least write names down so I could name, names. But I had a senior moment and forgot them at the trailer. But ya'll know who you are!

DPF????? I think I remember my Mom saying that he was a Great+? Uncle or something like that. Also our neighbors here? Their last name is Butts. Now they are saying that it means we are family!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL

Ladies???? You are all awesome!!!

Hi, I'm feeling a whole lot better than I was that's for sure. :D Every day gets better and better. I went back to working last Wednesday. Boy the first day was so rough, I ended up having to have another housekeeper do my last room. I simply couldn't do it as I ran out of steam. Then had that Thrusday & Friday off. When I got to work Saturday morn I will say that I felt better able to cope. But they hired another couple up here and the husband does the housekeeping part ( ;) ) he and one of the other guys ganged up and did 2 of my rooms. But since then it has gotten better. It does help me out that it has been a little easier with more people staying over and the past two nights here have been slow so there have actually been vacant rooms!!!! Out of my usual 9 I have to do? Today I only had 3 to do. And I took my sweet azzed time and really gave then a super cleaning, plus I had a few stay overs so those rooms are a snap to do.

I am still on the mend tho and will be looking forward to each and every day that it continues to get better. And I'm every day that I can do that too!!!!

Am on oxygen, supposed to be on it 24/7 but danged if I can do that while I am cleaning a room. So I grab it in between rooms so I while I get my fix of oxygen I end up getting mini breaks too. :D All good to my way of thinking! hehehehe I will be contacting the Lincare Oxygen guy this week on our days off and I am gonna ask him about one of those small 'machines' that you carry instead of needing to drag around the dang tanks. They are a real pain in the butt. The tall portable tanks last 3hrs and the little short fat tanks last 2hrs. Running to Utah to the grocery store takes at least 2 to 2 1/2hrs one way. So needless to say you can really go thru a few tanks. Good thing we don't go that often. But I figure one of those little machines will be easier and cheaper in the long run. Of course at home they gave me the bigger machine to put in the house and use even if the 30' of tubing that I dragging around behind me can be a pain too. Told Kelly I think I'm in more danger of hanging myself on the tubing that anything else. And of course I am pure poetry in motion and turn around and step on the dang thing and about yank my head and nose off. Now I know how a horse feels having someone yank on the reins. ;) I have my fingers and other things crossed that I will get lucky and can get rid of it.

But again I want to thank each and everyone of you for keeping me in your thoughts, prayers and sending cards. All of it really, really meant a lot to me.

Echo...so good to see you up and about----even if hauling Oxygen around with you! Those mini Oxygen makers are the thing to get...no tanks whatsoever---just batteries to keep charged. They concentrate O2 from the air around you and make it so very much easier to move around. They are expensive, but if they want you to keep active and working, the helath insurance should cover the cost. (SHOULD is the important word here!)

9 rooms per day is a LOT of rooms, for someone supposedly working part-time----very glad they hired others to help out with that load. How is Kelly holding up?

Stay in touch as much as you are able, and be sure to give yourself lots of rest to allow for recovery.

Happy travels!
