I decided to unhitch and go to Walmart, so won't need cat food, Cedar-----but thanks, anyway!
I always forget what a treat it is to shop at Walmart-----people pushing screaming (I mean EAR-PIERCING!) kids--totally oblivious to those around them blocking their ears and flinching, people talking on cell phones who sound as if they have asked me something, and when I say, "Excuse me?" they turn their backs to me, entire families blocking the aisles, chatting, deciding on Bounty or Viva, thousands of signs telling people where things are except for the ONE thing you are looking for, check-out lanes PACKED with people/families pushing two, three and four wagons of stuff, waiting for a price check, or someone to remove a security device from the person ahead of you, AFTER all your goods are already on the moving belt, getting lost trying to find a way out, forgetting which parking lane the big red truck is in, as there are always about 125 big red trucks in Walmart parking lots, wheeling 5 other people's carts to the place to park them so I can drive out, and last, but not least, getting into the correct lane to make the correct turn to take the correct highway direction back to where you want to go! WHEW! Better than an amusement park for me!
I got roasted chicken for dinner, and potato salad. Bob has broccoli and I have more green beans, or whatever.....I got tired shopping. Bob made a super dinner last night----scalloped potatoes and pork chops and delicious green beans. It was so nice to not have to think about cooking after my harrowing trip! So tonight I will 'cook' with the microwave and serve the dinner!
I guess Molly did fine staying in the trailer while I was gone, as there were no security guards around to assail me about any 'noisy' dog! Bob said he heard nothing, so I guess she felt at home in here and was fine. Twitch has been sleeping since we got about 1 mile from home! Besides eating occassionally, drinking, and using the litter box. I am leaving the cage open, but he's staying in there, right on his bed, for now!
Time for me to take Molly for a walkabout in my hiking boots, as these roads are like walking on an Oregon low-tide beach, minus the shells----just the rocks!
Had to pay for WiFi, but at least I can get on here now! 3.25 per 24 hours, so not too bad. I hope to stay in touch better now that I can get on here. No cable TV here, so I am watching just whatever digital channels come over the air via my antenna.....this little truckers' TV can get quite a few channels, so I am ok with that!
Happy Saturday, Everybody!
