Mornin' ladies~~~
Enjoy your day of not worrying about calories.

Another rainy day in NE Ohio. Not much in the agenda today. Looking at routes, maybe a bit of grocery shipping, and Unknown stuff.

Hope your day is busy and fun.

Morning Cheryl and All, rain and gloom have arrived. It’s ok because I’m staying home and watching celery grow. Lol Technology will be the death of me. New alarm clock has 5 tiny buttons with symbols, I don’t do symbols. The number are as bright as having a lamp lit. Took me half an hour to set time. The alarm went off at 7;00 pm last night and I woke up to military time. Have no idea how that happened. I unplugged the phone and will deal with it later. Lol No plans but will have a wicket dinner because Cheryl said it is ok. Barbie thanks for the beautiful pictures. Be safe.

Cheryl, that excuses the sugary treat I just ate, maybe lol

Today will be interesting. I'll get my laundry done and run to town for a few continental breakfast items. (Near little town.) For the first time since we opened no check ins today! So unless any walkins I'll have a quiet afternoon and evening. And that's ok with me. Right now I'm just waiting for two more checkouts to come for breakfast or leave. Actually both lol

The storm blew through here about 11:30 last night with a lot of wind, rain and lightening. The electricity went of 3 time for about a minute. I expected to see more limbs down but not many. The trash can blew over but I was up before the truck passed. I was outside for about an hour picking up stuff and now I'm sitting in front of a fan. The humidity must be 100%. My rain gauge has an inch and 3/4. I haven't' watched any news this morning so don't know if there were any tornados but lots of warnings last night.

I went to my meet up meal and made it home almost before dark. The restaurant we went to is usually very busy but because of Cinco de Mayo there weren't very many people there. My friend that is moving to Georgia surprised us. She is in town to close on selling her house and moving her things.

I have been eating the cornbread casserole as a dessert because it's so sweet. That's about the only thing I have except for some old Christmas cookies.

I don't know what I'll do today. Maybe I'll make it to Lowe's to get mulch.

Rain this morning here, also. I slept in and watched TV in bed while reading, as I often do in the morning.

I made dough for sugar cookies last night and will bake them tonight so I can take them to son's house for kids to frost. Also, yesterday, I went through my suitcase to make sure I had everything I needed packed. Then this morning, I realized I needed a second set of keys for my son. They will not be in town until two days after I arrive, so I will have to take an Uber from the airport and go directly to RV storage place, so need two sets of keys. Of course, I had to do a ton of digging around, and think I found the right ones. I know I have a full set somewhere, but if I cannot find them, I am working on the theory that a thief will not be able to find them either!!!!!!!!!

It is a gloomy day here, on and off rain and chilly. I went to have fasting lab work done this morning and when I came out it was pouring. I waited a couple of minutes and then decided I'd rather get wet than postpone getting home to coffee any longer. Toby had to be at the vet at 7:30 to have his teeth cleaned and DH took him. When he left it was the usual time he takes Emma to Nancy's and she was NOT happy. He came back and got her so now Pippa is a bit confused at having free access to the whole house. Oh and before I got everyone out the door, Pippa threw up and Emma used, and mostly missed, Pippa's piddle pad. All this while I was trying to get out the door to go for the labs. I didn't sleep well last night so I see a nap in my near future.
I'm with you Shirlv, I don't do symbols either. I use my iPhone as my alarm. Peggy I hope you are home safe! Judy I hope you found the right keys and all works out for your take off and return!

While I am thinking about it, Beth, are you near Cedar City.? I read an article about all the interesting art venues located there. Sounded like something you might be interested in.
I went to Superior Court today and got my certified copy of divorce papers which I had lost.
Went on my mobility scooter. Fun tooting around downtown.

Rainy and windy day here today. Made a couple of different dishes to divide and freeze for those days I just dont want to cook. Making salmon patties tonight. Was going to have spaghetti but kind of out of the mood for that. So salmon patties it is.

Tomorrow want to clean up my bedroom. Need to vacuum up the dog hair and wash the bed linens. Emma is blowing her coat so I have to be a bit more diligent in my vacuuming. Have one more Christmas cactus to replant but need to get some more potting soil. I need about 10 bags for all my pots inside and outside. Might bop over to Home Depot or Lowes tomorrow, even if it is Saturday. I prefer to stay home on the weekends.

Martha, Shirl could use some of your mulch
sure can waste a lot of time on the phone... it's also my alarm actually don't have any other alarm clock here at any rate... and the one in the trailer can't remember how to set it or anything about it it's been a long time since I've used it...
had nephew family over to eat the enchilada's one left  so stuck it in freezer.. had some left over Spanish rice but not enough but in freezer had some left over rice so combined them... actually tasted better this time not so tomatoey  and chips and dip speaking of which I think they forgot to take dip home dang... I need to figure out supper for tomorrow... no idea what we will have perhaps use some of the shrimp that is in fridge... now to figure out how to use it it's already cooked but most of the recipes call for raw shrimp so wondering if I can use the cooked shrimp and add it in later in the recipe???
really didn't do much today
mom came into the bed room last night about 1 to tell me that there was a light on down stair's sure not what I wanted to do was go turn off a light at that time of the night... guess brother left it on oh well did it grumbling the whole way I don't like stairs...
you all have a great day

Sheila, when I think about if I ever settle at my casita for longer times I'd like a trailer with a back living room with a big window as that's the direction of my view. I ruled out 5th wheels because I don't want the extra entrance stairs or to the bed. Some day.

When I ran to town for loaves of bread today I walked past the freezer and saw the o'brien potatoes. Yep potato soup is in my future. We saw 80 today but in a couple days it'll be 50's and with overnight freezes again.

Wish I could think of what else I wanted to respond to but my brain is already half asleep. Night all
