Morning All, clouds and sun today. Have two pick up orders this afternoon. This morning will just be tidying and a load of laundry. Humidity still low so a good traveling day for me. Be safe.

Looks like we are going to have a warm day. It's already 80. Yesterday there are places around me that got 3 to 5 inches of rain. There was barely any water in my rain gauge. Last year was too much rain and now we need some.

Last night when Sugar went out for her last bathroom run about mid-night she didn't come right back in. I went out to see what she was doing and she and two of the cats were after a field mouse in the junk under the back porch. She caught it and then it was to get it away from her and throw it over the fence. I don't know what the difference is between what I call a field mouse and a rat. They are about the size of a rat but look more like a mouse. I have seen the cats with several of them because the neighbor was mowing their pasture.

I don't know what I'll do today. I need some mulch for the rose bed so might make it to Lowe's. The caladium bulbs I planted in a pot last year are coming up again. The tub of catnip is doing good too. If I would plant some lettuce in one of the tubs it would probably do good but I'm not that crazy about salads.

I've been busy all morning with laundry and organizing insurance claims for Pippa. I haven't turned any in yet and I'm hoping there isn't a deadline, of course you can't talk to a person. She was wild and into everything yesterday and now today she is so quiet I'm a little worried. Maybe she is still tired from yesterday.
Martha I would have been so out of there when I saw the mouse!! Snakes I would check out but mice or rats I'm gone.
Barbie, I'm glad someone stepped in to help, that woman sounded nuts! I don't think I would have given her money back.
It is a little cloudy today and not as warm which suits me fine. Back to my chores and lunch.

Good Morning, yes Barbie, that horrible woman does sound crazy. Imagine her poor boys growing up with that. When people are yelling, I just cringe and want to slide away.
Big article on scooters in the paper this morning. Those are two wheelers electric and NOT allowed on the sidewalk. My scooter is 4 wheels and called a mobility scooter and is allowed on the sidewalk. Plus, I go much slower!!!. The article also mentions a group here in town whom are against scooters. I wasn’t aware of them. I will have to contact them and see if they need help.
Working on my strawberries in my mind today.

Good morning everyone. It's sunny here and we may reach 90's by mid week and still no word on AC fan motor/assembly! I'll be calling early afternoon (they said they get their shipment around 10). I'm planning to head to Curves in about an hour. Going to check local store to see if the Sirloin steak that was $3.99 a lb last Thursday is still on sale and available, of so I'll get several, as it was very good in Air Fryer. Amazed me how tender and juicy I was. Have a good day everyone.

Good afternoon ladies! Actually, it's almost evening!

Shirl, I hope you got your orders picked up. Martha, that's a lot of rain some areas got. BJ, I'm sure Pippa is just tired from yesterday. Lyn, I sure hope you can continue using your scooter on the sidewalk. Velda, hopefully those steaks are still on sale. Steak prices are outrageous anymore!

We're still having nice weather here in central FL with temperatures close to 90 with lots of sunshine. The resort had a new landscape company sign a contract to cut the grass. The company they had were really falling down on the job and letting three weeks go by before they'd show up. The new company came today and all the lawns were cut but we still need to have the hedges and bushes trimmed. Maybe they'll be back tomorrow.

The Father of our church gave us some books with day trips for FL, so since we're not going back to MD, maybe we'll take some of these trips instead for a change of scenery.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Started off my day with a cat scan and then grocery shopping, followed by a new family doctor appt, except I will probably not see him again. My original Cleveland Clinic doctor left in February, so when I asked for an appointment when I got back here, I found a new lady doctor who is an internist and geriatric doctor. Made appt for last week, but they cancelled it because she is now on leave for two months, which means no one can fill my prescriptions I need before I go to the UK!! Anyway, I called nurses, and they gave me the first possible appointment with a family practitioner, and he filled my prescriptions after I met with him today. He is also going to monitor the results of my morning cat scan and other tests I have had at the request of Doctor #1 before she left!! Except at the end of the appointment, Doctor #3 told me he is changing his role within the organization, so I am still a medical orphan. With some luck, my Doctor #2 will be able to see me on June 30!!!

Have to tell you about yesterday morning. I had to dump my tanks, and when I was done, I noticed a very small fledgling sitting on the pavement in front of my vehicle. Honking did not make this little guy fly away. He just huddled down even more, so I had to get out of my rig and go shoo him away. Except he then decided that maybe my rig was his mother, so he flew right to it and hit it before landing on the pavement again. So I had to shoo him even farther away this time. He was able to fly, but did not have complete wing feathers and was definitely confused, but i managed to drive away without running over him. Luckily, the campground was very empty yesterday after the weekenders went home.

Also, found this article about saying "Rabbits" that some of you might find interesting. It is in a UK newspaper. https://www.nationalworld.com/news/offb ... on-3256675
