Mornin' ladies~~~
I remebered Rabbits! today. Think once a year is my average. Still in Shipshewana, but will head west to Mishawaka to have lunch with a former coworker for lunch.
Noisy storms last night and windy. At least that's over.

Not much else going on. Have a happy day ladies!

I did remember rabbits this morning and sure hope May is a kinder month. Rain storms forecasted for this area today and if the radar map is correct it’s going to happen at any moment. Doesn’t look like a very nice day but can’t complain for getting more moisture. I think this is part of the system that did damage east of us but without the intensity they had. I posted in Pets about Rascal o no Ned to repeat it. Suffice to say its been a difficult few days. I attended the memorial for daughter in law’s father the other day. It was a very moving and emotional for all of us. I have good memories of him over the last twenty plus years. Well, the rain has started so guess they nailed this forecast! Wish I could work outside but it’s not going to happen today! I did manage to finally get myself moving late yesterday afternoon and managed to get the backyard mowed. Did the front the other day. Just need to tackle the flowerbeds and finally get rid of the leaves still there and make a run to the dump to get rid of multiple bags of them. So that’s about all my news but have been enjoying reading everyone’s posts. Have a good day and hope May is a good month for us all.

Morning all. I remembered rabbits this morning and don't think I talked to Ty during the night. I'll take any help I can get. Lol

Being short staffed means I'm only getting 2 half days off a week for now. The person supposed to work tomorrow morning for me made a doctors appt, convenient right? So I told her to work this morning and she is. So Ty and I are just hanging out. I getting some home chores done. I can't wait until our windy season is over. I have no desire to go anywhere fun with the wind. And I do remember it gets better. Hopefully soon.

Everyone take care and stay safe.

Good Morning…I, too, remembered to say rabbits this morning! First time in a long time.
I am heading for the Salvation Army store here downtown tomorrow. The first thing I need for my strawberries is to find the container. If I cannot find one there, I will have my daughter drive me to other thrift stores.
I have softball all morning then the San Diego soccer team plays at 4:00.
I have a new, large bruise on my leg. I have absolutely no idea where I banged it.

Rain last night and again this morning, so a lot of campers left early, like between 7 and 8. Don't blame them because ground is full of puddles and soggy again. This campground has very narrow asphalt areas, so if an RV is parked on one, the wheels barely fit on each side, and there is absolutely so where to walk except on the grass and mud! You literally step out of your door into mud. They did put in about 15 new and wider full hookup sites, but 90% of sites are still too narrow. Don't know when it was last paved with asphalt, but they really need to at least add a strip of large-sized gravel along each edge. The new sites are about 3' wider and have a paved patio, as well as a 6' x 6' area around the hookups paved.

All-dirt camp sites are fine for deserts and mountains where there is not much rain, but here where it rains every 3-4 days or sooner, it does not work. The other thing that these Ohio (and others) state parks are behind on are dump stations. I am guessing that they were built with the assumption that you only needed two dump spots for 200 campers since most campers were in tents way-back-when. Now, almost everyone has some sort of RV that needs to have tanks dumped, so Sunday is usually a long line. I am headed out to dump my tanks now that it is an hour after checkout time. Hopefully, I will be able to dump without waiting in a long line.

Actually, the worst setup for dumping was the state park in Traverse City where camp hosts had to direct traffic around checkout time because the line for the dump station went past a row of campsites. And the road past those campsites was very narrow, so it was hard for campers to leave, even in cars or pickup trucks, when the line was there! Plus for two to three hours each day, the "scenery" outside of those sites was a row of idling diesel trucks!!

All in all, however, this is a good campground, but next time, I will pick one of the newer sites. They also put new full hookup sites in West Branch, which is another place I stay at when in this area, and have one reserved for next Friday for my last two weeks here.

Good news is that my second bone graft to the tooth I had pulled last summer is less painful today. Had it done Friday because last one did not get enough bone take. They also added more bone because I had originally had a hole from tooth socket to sinus, and they do not want implant peg to migrate into my sinus!!! Wouldn't THAT be fun??

I think I talked to Sugar before I said Rabbits. I could use some better luck with my motorhome.

It is raining off and on today. I think there is more thunder than rain. My parish is under a flash flood warning. I think that is wishful thinking. I got all my mowing done so it can rain all it wants too. Sugar can't decide if she wants to be out or in. She wants to be out if it's raining but I don't know what she is barking at. We just had a big clap of thunder and the light went out for a second. Glad my battery backup is working.

I made a cornbread casserole in the slow cooker from a recipe that was on Facebook. There are too many recipes on Facebook. The recipe calls for a box of Jiffy and 2 cans of corn. It's not bad but too sweet. If I make it again I think I will cut back on the sugar. The Jiffy mix is already sweet.

Judy, the campground I stayed at last week had all new cement pads that were put in after the flood several years ago but they are not wide enough. When you step out of your rv onto the step the next step will be on the grass. Since the pads are high it makes it dangerous. It seems like they never talk to RVers when they build campgrounds.

I better get off before I loose power for real.

I remembered to say Rabbits last night. I think that is only about the third time I have remembered. It is almost 80 today with of course the wind. We had a lot of rain and some thunder last night. I am lazy today or should say more lazy than usual. I haven't brushed Pippa yet and I will be sorry if I don't. No plans for the evening other than to watch Call the Midwife. It is one show I do look forward too another is reruns of As Time Goes By.

BJ, we only get over the air TV, so I haven't heard of those shows, but I will look for them.

Church went well, which is the high light of my week.

Last night I think I had food poisoning. I finished up some deviled egg potato salad and awhile later got bad cramps and very bloated. I took some anti-gas pills and a Pepto pill. Layed awake until about 3am very uncomfortable but I finally fell asleep. This morning was still feeling a bit off but went to work. Luckily, nothing "tangible" ever came of it but sure didn't feel good all day.
Wasn't too busy until toward the end of the day. Got a mom with a couple boys who came in. The boy I had, had extremely thick, wavy hair. I wanted to use a clipper on it but mom wanted a scissor cut. I did the best I could but it is very hard to get that kind of hair to lay flat with a scissor cut. When I was done, she looked it over and just flipped out! She went into a total tirade about what a horrible haircut it was, etc, etc. I told her his hair is very thick and with a scissors it is hard to make it look even. She really got insulting saying I should be ashamed of myself for blaming a bad haircut on a kids hair. I apologized several times but she wouldn't leave it alone She called me incompetent and a bad stylist and just kept on with it. My coworker, the new guy, took the kid back to "fix" it for her. I gave her a refund for the cut and she was still going off on me. I just went into the break room until she left. Just couldn't handle the continuous verbal abuse. :( Jose ended up using the clippers on the kid and mom was happy with that (I should have just gone with my gut in the first place!). I had offered to go over it with the clippers, before my coworker took him back but she said no, the kid didn't need clippers to get it to look good.

So now I have been feeling really down about it. I know it wasn't my fault but I am very sensitive to personal criticism like that, and it really makes me doubt myself and I get a little depressed. So now I still feel crappy physically and now emotionally too.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
