Friday April 22

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Friday April 22

Morning All, sun is shining, no wind and warmer. Since I don’t have a leaf blower and am not going to borrow one will swiffer the balcony this afternoon. Going to suit up with mask, head scarf and haven’t figured out how to come inside with pollen on my clothes. If I am fast enough could drop my clothes and run inside. Will think on that. I have two geraniums to pot and still need a thriller and a spiller to finish the arrangement. Didn’t leave home yesterday so might do a little shopping today. Godfrey’s Farm store is finally open so fresh asparagus and a homemade ice cream cone is on my list for next week. Simple pleasures. Be safe

Not sure if you've seen the covid outfits they wear in China, but those would probably work on top of your clothes.
Had a good chuckle on your plan though - maybe do it before dawn & keep your lights off. :D

Catherine, I had to laugh at my plan, would certainly stop traffic. Going to wear a scarf on my head a mask and a duster over my clothes. Can remove duster roll up and throw in washer and hope not bring pollen inside. I will look like my grandmother. It is really bad but lower pollen count in the afternoon. If all else fails I will eat ice cream because I did make it to the store.

Shirl, you can find small leaf blowers on Amazon and other places. I bought mine at Quartzsite a few years ago. It is small and lightweight and didn't cost much. Good for light, small jobs. Here is one...

Am being lazy today. Need to get busy and finish up sorting thru food I took out of the cupboards last night.

For some reason, Lola didn't eat her canned food supper last night, which she usually scarfs down. A short time later, I offered it to her again and she reluctantly ate it. I shouldn't have done that. An hour later she had diarhea and then threw up all the food. I gave her a little bit this morning because she was asking, and so far so good.

It is still very windy today but much cooler than yesterday. I should be doing something productive outside  .

I better get myself motivated here... Enjoy the rest of your day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

did they say if this was what has caused so many water pumps to fail? glad it is fixed...
that is quite the picture we can picture in our minds Shirl or you could wait and let it all blow away naturally
something was said that I was going to comment on and shoot can't recall what it was it may or may not come to me...
got up with the idea of going to Chinakitchen for lunch so presented the idea to mom she was all for it... so we drive out to the restaurant and it's closed... the sign said closed for out of season gave dates will reopen tomorrow... so drove over to another restaurant cost probably twice as much but not their fault at the china place I probably wouldn't have gotten the skillet cookie possibly not the pot stickers although I may have (I can't remember if they carry them) so guess I will have to have this idea in a week or so... for some reason I was really full so wasn't all that interested in fixing supper but mom seemed to think we should as we would want something later... which is true so I put together a veggie tray put a half avocado on our plates and pulled out the croissants... and the chocolate butter it wasn't bad...probably not what mom wanted but it was filling...
I opened up my e-mail and had a notice from Ancestry saying that my dad's name had a hint so went to look at it and see what it was it was the 1950 census and there I was with my brother... kinda funny to see your name on a census...
well it still hasn't come to me so will close going to make a surprise cup of hot chocolate
