This is actually about 10 miles (west?) of Port Lavaca. And it is the *perfect* beach for boondocking.
But as this was an attempt to ESCAPE the high temperatures, I opted to get an rv space for electricity to run my AC.
Mornings and evening I did go out for walks. The beach is a bit over a mile long, so that made for 2+ mile loops am and pm.
These black-headed gulls are very beautiful. We don't have them on the West coast.
And I hope one our 'birding' sisters can identify these cranes with pink bills and legs.
Yikes! My glass is empty...must be time to head for home.....
