I got back from New Orleans yesterday and I was pooped. I don't know how strong the winds were but I had to fight to keep my RV in my lane on bridges and overpasses. There was a red fire alert all over South Louisiana because of the wind, low humidity and drought. I should have waited until today but wanted to get home and check on the cats and dog. I had left Sugar with my son and she was pooped too. He leaves the back door open all day so the dogs can come and go. I can't do that here or the house would be full of cats. Sugar likes to lay on the back porch half the night but not last night and she slept until 8:00 this morning. The rally was fun but very tiring. Tuesday we had a bus tour all day. Wednesday we had a meeting with someone from the factory so we could ask questions. It was interesting to hear the problems everyone has. I hope Coach House never sells out and stays family owned. Thursday we toured the Mardi Gras Float Museum and got dropped at the World War II Museum for 5 hours. That was a bit much. Between the walking, bus rides and our meeting room being on the second floor my ankles were swollen and my knees were aching. I was about ready to call a taxi and go back to the campground. I don't know where they found the caterers for the meals but there was nothing served that was anything like South Louisiana food. People were from all over the country so they probably though it was good but I lost 3 pounds.
I thought about stoping to check on my taxes but they called this morning. I'll pick them up Monday.
I looked to see how old my HP computer is and I only bought it 3 years ago. I finally got it to update before my trip and got the GPS updated. It's a good thing because I needed it in New Orleans. My son had gotten me a big monitor for my desk so I am spoiled to the big screen.
BJ, you didn't need kids, you have enough excitement with your dogs. I got one of the emails about something being done from Moscow too. I reported it as Phishing. I report a lot of things as Phishing. If they don't want to be reported don't send me crap.
I didn't mow Sugar's yard last week and the grass is very tall. It's going to be hard to mow with the push mower. I will have to mow the yard this afternoon because the clover is taking over again. My roses are blooming like crazy. My $5 rose bush from Ollie's is doing good. I need to get the Ficus tree out of the old house. I'm glad I didn't get it out before with all the wind we have had.
