So happy to hear all our friends in Louisiana are OK. Yes, Claudia. She was so funny at the Kansas GTG. Although I do not watch the TVnews, things pop up on the computer to inform me.
I’ve enjoyed the nice weather the past couple of days. Pool has felt good.

Claudia went to the Louisiana Belles campout last weekend but I didn't go. Would have liked to see her. She commented on my post on Facebook so I ask if she had any damage. She hasn't replied yet.

Sugar woke me up about 5:00 this morning to go outside. It was cold in the house so I looked at the thermostat. When the thermostat is switched from cool to heat it automatically goes to 65 degrees. I guess I forgot to put it higher when I switched it. It is really windy again. I'm getting tired of hearing the wind all the time.

A CPA from the place I bring my taxes called. Who ever did my taxes last year said the estate was closed so they can't file another estate return. He is going to just report that income on my return even though it was reported on the estate number and Harold's SS number. Hope I don't hear from the IRS but bet I do.

I have been seeing Ads about some new Sketcher tennis shoes with extra arch support. Yesterday when I went to Lafayette I went by the new Sketcher store and got a pair. They seen to be helping my foot. I haven't tried walking down the road yet.

For some reason I thought today was Friday all morning. I forgot to get some of Sugar's pills yesterday and thought I would have to go to town. I can wait until tomorrow. I put Charlie in a big cage on the carport so I can doctor him and give him soft food. If I open the door he doesn't want to get out. He is liking his new house and food.

Lucky Charlie. Probably the best time of his life. I also have seen some of those Skecher ads. Keep me informed please. The pair if skechers I have are just ok, but those sound better.

I'm staying put today for a couple reasons, including the wind. Not as bad as Monday but I gave myself extra time because I don't want to drive more of it than necessary. I know I'll be in some. I forgot that this park was the Escapee coop that got devastated by a major storm a couple years ago. Everyone here was quite nervous about the bad weather earlier this week and very happy not to see a repeat.

I ran to town to pick up a couple things and, of course, forgot the mayo which was the #1 reason. I remembered almost immediately after pulling out of Walmart so stopped at HEB. Then I bought a few food items and my freezer is so full that I can't fit a couple things in. I knew better. But it also means I know for sure what my next couple meals will be.

Talked with both Claudia and Sarah on Messenger last night and they are both fine, no damage.

Those of us who were at the Shipshewana GTG, will probably remember that Claudia pulled out of the park that one night, because she had a little fire in her motorhome And parked by a business and called the fire department because she didn’t want to disturb us.

I don't know if any of you watch Trish & Marc with Keep Your Daydream on Youtube. They recently bought a vintage Class A RV and drove it along Rte 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. I finally got caught up today on their travel videos of that. They are such a fun couple and their videos are very funny and entertaining. They travel with their teenage son who is also very entertaining!

I got my laundry all done, turned my mattress around (hopefully no sink hole to sleep in now  ), made an appointment for a blood draw tomorrow at 1pm (earliest time I could get in so will be having a big lunch right afterward!). Also made an appointment to get my windshield replaced next Tuesday afternoon.

I mentioned to the putters group this week that if anyone wants to keep playing for fun on Tuesday mornings while they are still here, they can join me at the same time as usual. Well, now the lady who is in charge of the league I think thinks I am continuing the league for the summer! :o I am not. Just want to go play "for fun" before it gets too hot (probably in another month or so). Not even sure if anyone will show up to play. Most of the snowbirds are getting ready to head out soon.

I'm getting tired of hearing the wind all the time.

Me too, Martha! Me too!

Now I need to put my laundry away and maybe play with my cat thunder gourd and figure out what colors to use on it. I finalized my Vistaprint "business" cards for my gourd art (even tho I have no gourds yet to sell  ) and ordered them.

I ordered a new set of tires yesterday, after some difficulty finding a tire dealer who could handle my motorhome. (Most had tiny parking lots or just policies of not working on anything bigger than a pickup truck.) Anyway, they came this morning, so went out and had them installed. Young workers had a little difficulty jacking up my rig, but managed at least to not drop it. So, I am happy to have new tires, especially since these have steel sidewalls, so I will not worry so much about a sidewall blowout.

Headed north tomorrow to southern Georgia and then to Lake Lanier near Atlanta.

We have a bomb threat downtown. They have closed off some streets including the main highway, and asking people to go home or to their hotel. Webcam shows people still walking around. Shaking my head.

Got an e-mail that my phone can't be repaired - not happy. They are sending a replacement - I didn't even ask. Will deal with it when it gets here. They are to give me the tracking number, but won't hold my breath for overnight shipping.

Martha, I'll be anxious to hear about the shoes! I hadn't heard that story about Claudia and the fire!

My first pick basketball just loss so out of March Madness.

Well, I didn't get to putting the laundry away. Didn't even put the clean sheets on the bed yet.

My neighbor shared some orange whipped cream salad with cottage cheese and mandarin oranges. Needs more orange pieces tho so will pick up a small can of those tomorrow and add them in.

I am cat-sitting Lily this weekend. Will go over there tomorrow morning and check on her.

I decided to paint the thunder gourd in metallic paint. I thought I had bought some recently but I guess not, so I ordered a small set of metallic paints from Amazon and will get those tomorrow so I can get started on it.

Good night...

Barbara, I really like your business cards!
I find constant wind/breezes make me feel on edge!
Glad group members who were near storm are ok.
I'm still fighting a painful shoulder and trying different suggestions while waiting for scheduled Dr appt.
