Gas price yesterday was $4.19 on the plus side traffic outside my window is passing slower. Sheila, our KMart closed a couple years ago and left this county with nothing. A Target will open In their building April 4. I am so excited. Lol Update on Luca the Yorkie. He did very well his first day in school, he can now sit, lay fetch and ring daughters bell. Be safe

It has made it up to 50 this morning. I don't know what the high is suppose to be but probably not much higher. The rain prediction for here was a bust. Yesterday all the rain went North and today it's coming in to the East of here. The grass for the cows really needs rain. I guess when the rain does start we will get too much.

There was a K-Mart in a town 20 miles to the East but it closed several years ago. Some store has opened in it's place but I can't remember which one. I liked to shop at the K-Mart but I don't go that way very often. My insurance agent is over there but I don't go see him very often. I use to shop at Target but don't go there very often. I use to be able to find clothes I liked at Target but now everything is so cheap and I don't mean the price.

It's funny that dogs go to school now. My dog has trained me. lol She wants to sleep all day and hang out half the night. That's ok if it not too cold but I don't want her out at night when it's cold. She get bronchitis.

Someone just dropped off my mower but didn't leave me a bill. I'll have to remember to go pay them. Sheila, you ask if I had a riding mower. Yes, it's one of the zero turn mowers. I didn't like it when Harold bought it but I have learned to use it. I guess the cats would like for me to get dressed and go feed.

Good Morning, We have sunshine! It is just a teaser because this weekend it's going to get ugly out.
Shirl Luca sounds like he is really smart! Pippa is having a wonderful day. She has full run of the house as Toby is at the groomer and Emma of course is with Nancy.
Judy did you see my post on yesterdays coffee about the mosquito clothes? I hope you find something that works!

Sunny here and headed into 70's. Praying for rain sometime! I'm heading to Curves in a bit to try to get back moving. Later to chiropractor to get kinks out making sleeping miserable due to upper back, neck, and shoulder pain. Nothing else new here, just tryi g to catch up on stuff that slipped by during February while down sick.
Stay safe if bad weather or travels or just do that anyhow.

Good morning gals! (well, it is noon here  )

I went to bed early last night, just after 10pm and slept until 11:30 this morning! I must have been tired!!

I saw my old golf cart yesterday! The decals have been removed and it was cleaned up really nice. The guy must have fixed it up and sold it because it was on the other end of the park from where he lives. I hope it gets a good new life!

Now I need a plan and get up and get started! It looks like a beautiful day so I can get some outdoor things done and try out my new bike! Need to trim my nails and check Lola's too. Her feet need to be washed as well. The pads of her paws are really dry. Anyone have any recommendations on what I can rub on them?

Time's a'wasting so I better get moving here! Enjoy your day :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Afternoon here. I have been very busy doing my piddling things.
Velda, so glad you and son are feeling better.
Thanks for the report Shirl, on the Yorki who I can’t remember the name.
I think I am responsible for fowling up the request for UBER yesterday . I did have much difficulty and a resident here finally helped me. I will be using it next on the 17th so will be hopefully able to do it correctly. The ride I did get worked great and I was able to visit and have lunch with a good friend.
Catherine, I now own the book about the Seane River. I would love to give it to you.

Yes, I did see it, BJ, and have saved that page for when i am not so tired. I went to urgent care today--they have one connected to Cleveland Clinic so I chose that one because all my records are there. Doctor gave me prednisone prescription, but the hard part was waiting in Walgreen's to get it filled. They were busy and very slow, and I kept almost falling asleep in the waiting area. In fact, I am about ready to take my shower right now and crawl into bed because I am falling asleep in my chair, even though it is very early evening.

I had almost no sleep Monday night and only about 4 hours last night because I kept waking up and having to put ice packs on my legs to stop the burning feeling. Then I would fall asleep and wake up an hour or so later. I have tried Aleve and a pain med with an opioid, but the ice packs really work the best. I even used it after I got out of the urgent care office. Then off to Quest labs to get my blood drawn for my appointment with oncologist in 3 weeks, except after fighting traffic, I found out they closed at 3:30 pm. So, I stopped and got a sub sandwich and picked up a very few groceries. will have to go back on Friday to get blood drawn.

And all this driving around reminded me why I do NOT like to drive in traffic or in cities. I know people choose to live in cities because of jobs, but honestly, I have no patience anymore for struggling to maneuver my rig around in parking lots and having people pass me when it is illegal. I am much happier in small or medium town stuff.

Ate my sub for dinner and am off for a shower and to take a nap or maybe just get into bed for the whole night. Will have to ice legs down again until prednisone takes effect, but I am really tired.

I much preferred K-mart to either Target or Walmart loved their kids clothes...usually had clothes my size and that I liked... Walmart it's the books that take me there... Target doesn't carry the ones that I buy... so while there I do my other shopping Target is my youngest store of choice she hates Walmart... Target doesn't carry clothes that fit me.... I go there when I'm with dd and will go there when it opens here unless there prices are to high but the thing is stores of that nature are at least 2 hours away...and with the cost of gas right now the prices might have to be really high to stop a person from shopping there... :(
it's suppose to get really cold tonight down to -14 even at 9:00 it's only suppose to -1 usually warmer at that time... I am really tired of the cold...
so I sat down at the sewing machine not sure that the tension is right because it didn't look right sure glad I use the new piece to sew the stay stitch on as it just gets cut off anyway... it could have also been the thread as it's old the zigzag on the bottom looks good but not on the top just weird so have dd's getting me some thread will try that perhaps what I can do is try it on the monk's cloth down real close to the bottom as it will be removed as well and see how it works but the one piece is in the washer need to go put it in the dryer and the other is folded up will pull it out next week.. I could do it by hand but that is so tedious and my thumb is just not happy ....
I think it's a hot chocolate night (aren't they all???)
dd's are coming over for supper Sunday we are going to have adobo just need to figure out what to have with it... if I was going to have it in a restaurant would have this noodle dish but can't remember the name of it and that makes noodles and rice on the same plate... so not happening but just think I need something more than Adobo almost wish they had wanted pancakes  less to ponder... my son in law was all for his favorite dish as he hasn't had it for a long time... this was on a text with the 4 of us his wife replied made adobo I'll make meatloaf soon.... I think I will have sil put the rolling cart together
you all have a good day

I got my bike out this afternoon. Need to have Dave tweak a few things. The handlebars a little crooked, the front brakes aren't working too well and there is a light scraping noise on the front tire. I did adjust the seat down and it is comfortable now. I rode to the clubhouse and back. It peddles a little hard like it would be in a higher gear on a regular bike. I will try riding it with the battery in next time and then try the peddle assist. The weight without the battery wasn't bad.

I finished making the cat door. It isn't perfect looking but it functions the way it is supposed to, to keep out the heat and keep in the cool air and still allow Lola to go in and out thru the flap at the bottom.

Worked a little on the gourd, then went to Hobby Lobby and Home Depot. I am putting together some faux flower pots and a window box for the front of the house now that it looks empty without the golf cart parked there.

Stopped at Taco Bell for dinner and came home. Got a call from my manager asking if I can work for her tomorrow. She has a family emergency so I said I would.
