Good morning Everybody from beautiful warm and sunny Kino Bay. I think our “winter” is over. It has been in the 80’s the last few days and I’ve opened all the windows. Still gets cold at night as it is a desert by the sea.

Cheryl, I will be home this summer and I hope you are factoring me into your travel plans. I can meet you just about anywhere in New England and you are always welcome at my house.

Velda, sorry to learn that you and Chris got Covid in spite of being vaccinated. Glad you are on the mend. Shirl, my neighbor tells me the crocuses are blooming near the foundation of my house. Spring is coming.

Barbie, Roadtrek rallies were dominated by couples for years. Finally a brave woman tied a balloon to a table inviting singles to join her. Today the Solo Trekkers are a force to be reckoned with!!! There are many groups now that cater to solo rvers. Good luck
Enjoy today

Good morning. Really warm outside for 7am. 52. Cloudy with a high of 61 today. Cloudy and light rain at times. We are supposed to get more rain.....yay. Hope it is more than a sprinkle. I think I live in the "banana belt", seems the storm go around us and head north.

Really good to get my house back in order. The showers turned out great and I was very pleased. They did a great job. Got the guest bathroom back in order but still waiting for the shower curtain and rod to come for the master bathroom this week. Have the guest bathroom all done so that shower works great.

Yesterday was breezy and I was working outside and my allergies really kicked up last night. Time to start the allergy meds again.

I remembered RABBITS this morning. Think it was because the dog was still sleeping so no greeting for her first. I am looking forward to some good luck this month.

Time for a shower LOL then start my day

Good Morning, I forgot to say Rabbits last night, oh well will see what the month brings. The Ides of March is coming up and for some reason I over the years I seem to have rather major life changes around then, some good and some not so good!

Karen I really live your bathroom it really looks very pretty.! We need to have ours redone. DH is having more difficulties with the stairs to the basement but he likes the shower down there.

I just gave Pippa 1/2 of a Dramanine for her outing. I'm hoping she outgrows her car sickness. We are going to the pet food shop so she can pick out a new toy and treats. Today will be her first time out in public other than the vet.

Good afternoon ladies!

Velda, it's good to see you posting with hopes you & your son are starting to feel better. Karen, I can see why you are so thrilled with your walk in showers. We love ours in the casita with regular water pressure. Beth, I enjoyed the story you mentioned about the wife and that was the first time for me to hear that. Martha, it's nice that you have so many options available to go camping. BJ, I hope Pippa enjoys her outing. Shirl, I can't wait to hear about your winter garden. Sheila, as usual, I always look forward to your late night time posts so I have something new to read when I get up in the morning. Barbie is another late night poster, so enjoy reading her posts as well. Anne, where are you? Lyn, I'm thrilled to read that things are falling into place for you. A cat would be good company. Tina, after everything you've been through in the past year, and especially having seen you since you're on the road, every post from you is special.

Steve woke me at midnight and told me to say Rabbits. Then we went into the motorhome to go to bed. Today is Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday and some call it pancake day. It has been a ritual since I was a young girl to have pancakes and sausage for dinner and today will be no different. We invited one of my walking friends and her hubby to join us. The weather is perfect so we can entertain and eat in the pergola in back of the casita.

BJ can you find a carseat for the backseat that raises her up to see out the window. It also buckles them in for safety. That sometimes helps. Emma has one even tho she never got carsick. My previous dog loved her carseat and she never was sick. Emma rides in the backseat as I have air bags up front and I know I can turn them off but she is safer in the back seat I think.

Benji had very severe car sickness which he outgrew. He has scar seat set up in the backseat which he loves. It has a strap to tie him it if you so desire. Val uses it, I do not.
Karen, love color of new shower curtain.
Velda, glad you two are recovering.
I would love to live in Florida as so many of Forum sisters live there.
Another reason to stay in condo, I will have more discretionary $$$ at the end of the month.
After Val moves, I will have a guest room!!!!! And free parking in garage!!!

Met a friend in swim pool this morning who will be running in Boston Marathon in April!
That’s all I ca remember…Lyn

I said rabbits after midnight, but am not sure I didn't mutter anything else before it. Slept in this morning then got in a good walk and am going to try for another shortly. Laundry done. Nice to know just what the women on here think of me... Hussy cracked me up along with other comments. I hate to admit that the experience did make me rethink ever asking other rvers for help, unless I got to know them or they worked there. Might not be a bad thing as back then I knew so little and now I realize how much bad info/help is given.

One of the two dogs that started my rving adventure with me got seriously car sick for a few years. Any ride over 20 minutes she got medicated. One day I forgot and she was fine. The medicine made her sleep, so I guess she got in the habit of laying down in the vehicles and that's what she did the rest of her life and never got sick again.

I forgot rabbits again, as usual. Leaving tomorrow for Maui with my daughter. Should be lots of fun.

Lyn, I think it’s great you can stay in the condo and can get around to the stores you need to visit and Uber can help with other destinations. Wondering if you have set up any plans for someone to check in with you since your daughter will be gone. Velda, hope you and a Chris will be on the mend soon. Karen, the shower looks great.

Stay safe everyone.

Sandi, BFF and I had a talk this morning about the children we have relationship issues with so I am delighted to see you are going to Maui with your daughter! Have a wonderful time!

Shirl, I am pulling for those tulips! Peggy, so glad you are enjoying your winter. Velda, you and Chris are in my thoughts. Irmi, I like that Steve woke you up to say 'rabbits'! Karen, I definitely approve of your choice of colors! :) Beth, I had so many couples offer to help if I needed it. I had just gotten my truck back after the accident in Florida and got to the campground and found I had no lights, turn signals, etc. I was on the phone with the shop crawling under the truck when a woman came over and asked if I wanted help. Told me her husband was just sitting and doing nothing!

I said 'rabbits' thanks to midnight alarm. Day started well when Amazon pkg actually fit in mailbox, but I still had to go pick the other one up. I was not prepared for the parking lot mess left behind by the recent few inches of snow! Got the info for lease renewal - not as bad as I expected, but they doubled garage fee!

Happy Rabbits! Day ladies~~~
I forgot, again. I remembered in February so that's probably it for another year. Got up to early today. 4 am. Went back to bed for 5 minutes and knew I was already to awake to go back to sleep, so just got up instead. Now I feel like a nap but I don't want to.

Peggy I forgot, where do you live in CT? Been awhile since we were together in Georgia a couple years ago. I'll be in Clinton for a week as I had towards ME, and haven't worked on my route after Arcadia NP yet. All I know is I want to avoid Boston, NYCand DC so I'm open to almost any route right now.

Lunch with cousin Rox today to give her a copy of the Italian side of my family tree that goes back only to late 1800s, but it's a start, since she wants to see how far back she can go.

And Beth, Rox says Hi!

Anita, I should have set an alarm. I laid down before midnight and went to sleep. Sugar woke me up during the night and I didn't even think about Rabbits.

Today is the last day of Mardi Gras and the celebrations have been big. Everyone trying to make up for 2 years. It will be interesting to see if there are any covid surges. I put my Mardi Gras t-shirt on but didn't go anywhere. I finally got the rest of my bulbs planted. I had picked up a bulb planter when I went to Walmart. I need to go get a new shovel so I can plant my rose bush.

I got an e-mail that my food has shipped and will be here Thursday. I'm glad it's coming UPS instead Fedex. I never know where Fedex is going to leave packages. Irmi, pancakes for supper sounds good.

granddaughter came home last night just as I was getting off the computer... dressed in a romper it was warmer I am sure but not that warm but then today I went out in flip flops it was in the 50's and so much easier to put on...
