View from the window

The only dog that ever bit me was a Chihuahua and it was on my ankle. Sheila, I would be kind of nervous where you live if there was a chance of meeting a Moose. When I get to the end of my road where it's wooded I wonder what I would do if I saw a bear. It's probably been about 5 years since one was photographed at the state park and that's not far from me.

My view has changed with the snow melting. The huge piles of snow now look like piles of dirt since the top layer melted. There is blue sky for now and melting snow continues to pour off the roof creating some spots of lovely green grass!

RV friends had a couple of tiny chihuahuas. I went to their rig one evening before we were going to dinner and one of the dogs was just nasty. Got up to leave and he tried to bite me!

Great subject! I sit here looking out on the swim pool and grass courtyard. As an old lifeguard, when kids are in the pool, I must keep my eye on them! Lyn

I have enjoyed my changing views outside my windows but am ready to move on to Charlotte NC tomorrow for a weekend visit with my daughter and her husband. If no ice storm planning to hit Ohio I am ready to find my own driveway next. I am tired of walking dogs 3-4 times a day and am ready to open the door to a fenced yard for a while anyway. The view out those windows isn’t too fascinating but it will do for the next week or so. My body is just tired of walking 3-6 miles a day….

seeing a moose in the yard isn't usual as we are in town.... although the rural homes see them more often... however mom usually has deer often in her yard we haven't seen one since mid summer... but yes when you live near where wild life is common you should keep an eye out... Tina I would be tired too if I had to walk that many miles a day have a safe trip home ok enjoy your dd and sil

This is the view from the family room at the back of our house. We had quite a bit of snow for this area, plus a bit of ice last week. We still have patches where it hasn't completely melted. The windows in this room are really long as they were selected especially so the little Dachshunds the man who lived here before could see out. We have herds of deer and various other wild life passing through that creates bouts of wild barking with our three. Well Pippa hasn't really quite figured out the barking part yet.
