Judy I think that Doctors have a lot more hoops to jump through and checks and balances regarding pain meds than even ten years ago…….

Barbie, that spaghetti looks good and looks like several meals to me.

Reminder everyone .. rabbits tomorrow. East coasters, an hour away.

Martha, this part of Texas allows fireworks and they've been happening off and on starting with Thanksgiving. Christmas Eve and Day nights were both bad. Started again last night, but mild. Crazy since about 5 pm today. Every time I think it's slowing down, they start again. This is a small town, but there's obviously crazy fireworks folks near. I'm hoping we're in the last hurrah tonight but figure I should plan on some tomorrow night also.

Judy they've learned that people don't take as much of the pain medication if it's not a constant drip and like Barbie says, they are trying to limit usage. Usually if they push the button the help is almost immediate. So hopefully his pain when he wakes up abates quickly when he pushes for it.

Karen, I just read an article that anyone that gets sick with anything with similar symptoms should figure they have Covid unless they test and find out otherwise. I'm glad you seem to be feeling somewhat better and hope that continues.

There's another community dinner tomorrow. I'll probably do similar to Christmas ... Take a dish to pass, but not eat inside with everyone. Maybe I'll just put on my mask, fill a plate, and bring my dinner home. Or sit outside again. The park is providing pulled pork and I want some lol....

how do we do this??? Rabbit's is suppose to be first thing out of your mouth but you shout Happy New Year at midnight???? Can see it Rabbit Happy Rabbit New Rabbit Year
Got stuck twice today.... with the grocery cart :? was struggling pushing this very heavy cart through the snow and I mean struggling and this one kid I think came up and asked if he could help!!! was so great full for their help... then I went to the other grocery store for mom's RX that was a huge long line....I found a couple items not found at the first store... then went to pharmacy should have gone there first... found out that I had a 20 min wait so wandered found a book some lemonade and not sure what else was tossed into cart while roaming so went back and sat down and waited and waited and decided that the line was long the gal that told me to be back in 20 wasn't in site!!! so joined the line and waited I think I was doing the pharmacy thing for 50 mins... but did get it I was really hoping that she could be taken off that particular med... diuretic and Potassium to counter the potassium that is lost due to being on the diuretic... however it's helped the swelling in the feel look pretty much normal...
so then I went out to the car again struggling with the cart had enough stuff that I needed it besides it helps one not slip on the slick stuff... :o finally got to the car and got stuff in car then was going to take it to the cart storage and someone came up and took it again was so grate full for her help... so pull forward and realize that the big snow bank was going to make getting out harder so decided to back up to where I was and go out the other way... only someone was pulling in did get out without getting stuck ... got home stuff in house put away and decided that soup would be good for supper... now I am going to go get a cup of hot chocolate... maybe with mint in it...
I really want to do a remodel on the 5th wheel as much as one can do but it's not where I can work on it and first need to fix the slides... if I don't make it to Q I guess I will have to take it to a shop before it returns to it's summer spot... but if I'm not in it not sure it will make it back to that spot... although I would like to have it there so I can have a place to do R and R occasionally ... we will see what the summer brings and what the spring brings...
on to that hot chocolate oh Beth loved the message it is really special
Karen and Barbie get to feeling better... it's so hard to know what is what I swore mine was a cold till it wasn't
it's suppose to get in the minus degrees some time this weekend not looking forward to it but then other than church on Sunday don't have to go out in it but then mom's house is so cold it might be warmer out .... no not really but some times on wonders
Judy hopes your son heals soon is he the one from California? or Ohio? tough to be away from home and being sick..
you all have a great night and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Son is California one. Family was visiting younger Ohio son.

Wanted to let you all know that if you can still get at home COVID test kits if you keep trying online at places like Walmart that ship stuff to you. I ordered five sets for younger son and his wife and three kids. I have two tests back in Florida and will take one a couple of days after I get there. Older sons family gets them from school as all will be expected to test before returning. Son is teacher and wife is principal

Yay! Said "Rabbits" at midnight and then Happy New Year. I watched a little stuff on TV but it wasn't very entertaining so I turned it off. They delay the NYC ball drop on TV out here until it is actually midnight.

I could hear music from my bedroom window and then what sounded like a bunch of girls doing cheers or singing. Must have come from the casino. Now I hear fireworks so they are probably from the casino as well. Am surprised they are doing them since it is very windy out tonight.

I know why I don't feel good. It is the side effects from the Covid booster. Earlier my temp was up to 100 but after taking the Advil, I feel quite a lot better now.

Beth, that is a lot of spaghetti! I put 4 helpings in containers for the freezer, and after eating some for dinner, still have two more servings left for tomorrow. I have frozen cheesy garlic toast too but I just wasn't in the mood for that tonight.

....I knew the fireworks sounded really close and just realized that is because they are right over my house! They are coming from the community next door just behind the houses across the street from me! I can see the lower ones but the higher ones are right above my house! Must also be where the girls are making all the noise!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Karen, try getting NAC capsules for your cough. Last time I got bronchitis (2016), alternating Mucinex and NAC was the only thing that stopped my cough so I could sleep.
We had our usual appetizers for New Years Eve and watched the NY ball drop at 9 pm our time and again at midnight our time. 2022 is off to its start. Happy Rabbits day.
Kitchen leg of the new floor is pretty close to done, now for the long dining area slider into living room!
