Merry Christmas from Mazatlan.
Have a friend coming in today on a cruise ship hope to meet up with her. We live close to each other in Las Vegas, but did not manage to get together all last summer.

Merry Christmas to all.
I have been getting ready for the day (in my head) since around 3:30AM when I woke up. I only have to take a salad but I'm worn out from late night mind crazies. We are taking the puppy and her crate so that should be interesting. Toby will be home alone as Emma is already there as we are going to her trainers home. Since I have know her for over 50 years you would think I wouldn't be in such a tizzy. Come to think of it I was the one who woke everyone up on Christmas Morning very early. Maybe it's just in my DNA...

Merry Christmas from currently rainy and chilly SW Ohio. Nothing planned and I am sure that with a little resistance I can avoid starting any meaningful projects. It is a skill I have. The dogs sat for some Christmas hat pictures yesterday. They all agreed that they would rather be hiking but sit still they did. Merry Christmas to all out there in forum land even you wonderful lurkrers. Evie, I know that you and Sharon keep track of each other but thanks for checking in. At these stages of our lives we need all the good connections we can get.

Merry Christmas from cozy North Florida!

Working on the dinner. My neighbor and I got two prepped meals. All we have to do is warm them up and add anything we want. Warming the stuffing and Turkey in a low oven now. Will make additional white gravy and smash up some potatoes. Kitty Evie is anxiously watching the two fussing wrens across the street. Sun is out all bright and is warming up from our low of 55*. Nice Christmas Day.

Many blessing to you all. Be safe and have a great day.

Merry Christmas from warm and rainy central PA! Can’t believe it’s already 53 here with rain! So no white Christmas here! At least no ice or snow on the roads. Quiet day with just pup and I until much later and I’ll head off to son’s for dinner. Hope you all have a wonderful day however you celebrate the day.

Merry Christmas from sunny and warm south Texas. I just need to prepare the salad I'm taking to the potluck today. Otherwise it's a laid back day like most all of them this winter. I spent most of my life working Christmas day, so it always seems strange to me that I have it off.

Merry Christmas from central FL where it is 74 degrees and we should top off around 78 with lots of sunshine. Steve just put the standing rib roast in the Big Green Egg and I have most of the sides ready. Brenda and Linda will be here around 2:00. Enjoy your day, surrounded by family and friends.

Merry Christmas from beautiful Kino Bay.
Since we have the patio setup that is most conducive to large gatherings, the Christmas dinner will be here, but I’m not hosting. Somebody is roasting a turkey and another is cooking a ham. I swept the patio and set up the tables. I’m making a salad of Romaine lettuce, sliced radishes, sliced jicama, diced canned peaches, raisins and pecans. I made it once before and it was a hit. That’s my contribution to the holiday gathering. Enjoy your day. Peggy

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Good morning, everyone, and Merry Christmas!

I decided to move this .gif over to this thread as well because. . . well "because" I have decided that this is the place (in the picture!) I want to be next Christmas. Thought I would let you all know.

LOL, I haven't worked out any of the details yet. . . as to where, exactly, the above scene actually is.

Could be Klamath Falls, maybe?

I'm thinking maybe a Christmas rental in Klamath Falls might be just the ticket - looking at weather.gov I can see that KF is pretty much getting pounded by snow just now, making it a good day to stay indoors by that crackling fire that you can see.

Not sure how I'm going to find this alleged rental (Air B&B? Do they accept dogs?). . . or even how I'm going to get myself there. . . or how I'm going to be able to drag all of my friends and family along with me. . . but what the hey!!

Isn't Christmas just the perfect day for the dreaming of Big Dreams?

Stay safe, stay warm - enjoy the day!

Happy Holidays! :D :D :D

Had a nice bike ride today--spent over two hours riding and stopping at the "bird walk" to check out birds and alligators. High of 79 made it mostly warm but not too hot, so weather was perfect. Got back, chatted with a neighbor, and just finished dinner. Got most of outside stuff packed away because I move over one site tomorrow, not that I leave much stuff outside anyway.

Coming back from my bike ride, I counted 6 empty sites in this campground of 41 sites!! And yet, it is completely full. What is happening is that people are just not showing up but not bothering to cancel, which at least would allow someone else to use their sites. Maybe everyone is arriving just before midnight, but I doubt it as the site next to me has been vacant for two days.

Anyway, hope everyone had a nice Christmas!
