I have never seen big red ants, so will keep an eye out for them. At least the West does not have the pesky and sneaky mosquitos that are so prevalent in the East!

We had a new young guy start today and another older guy was interviewed and he starts tomorrow. Another new gal starts tomorrow as well. She worked there a couple years ago. So we will have 12 people working in a small room tomorrow!

Got home and cleaned off the deck and then pulled all my Christmas stuff out from under the house. I was very surprised to find 3 large bins and 5 smaller bins full of decorations! Where did all that come from?? Now I need to go thru all that and get rid of most of it. I sure don't need all that! I put the box with the tree in it, on the deck and left the rest of the bins on the patio for now. It gets dark by 5pm and I get home just after 4, so not much time to get stuff done in that time. Will work on more tomorrow after work.

It was so dusty dealing with all that stuff so I had to take a shower when I came in. My eyes still feel irritated even after using lubricating drops.

There is a smog shop across the parking lot from work so I brought my car over there during lunch to get it smogged. So now I can pay for the registration that is due soon.

Linda and I are talking about going to the Christmas Lights parade on Saturday evening in Palm Springs.

Oh, and I DID remember to say "rabbits" first thing when I woke up! :D

I've been on Google. It's possible that what bit me are red harvest ants. And the immediate pain with the stings was unbelievable. And lasted similar to what this article says. All I can say for sure is they are ants and red lol and I never want one to sting me again. That said, the pain is gone now. We won't talk about mosquitos because I have 3 or 4 mosquito bites now also. Yuck. I think I didn't notice them because the ant bites made it hard to walk or think for a while there.

I have had fire ants in my back yard and have been stung by them as well. It didn't hurt too much but blisters and itches a lot.

Thanks Beth for posting that picture...I appreciate it when I saw the cardinals had to have them on it. :D
One year I made a wreath for my daughter in law with oh sure aww Care bears on it as she was into care bears so then started making one for each of the girls my you ngest has crow and black bird on it and had I been able to figure out how to attach a gorgyal (one of the times spell check itsn't helping) there would have been one on it.. my eldest for a long time had an owl but it disattached it's self... actually come to think about it didn't last long at all but it was in her colors... and my 2nd to eldest dd was awfully hard to do as she is one that I don't know what her fav thing is very hard to buy for... but she was pleased if I recall it had a cow on it she is more country... and the one left I have the fairy's made just need to figure out how to attach wings and clothing and hair sorta know how to do the hair but the wings have me floored one day I will do it!!! TMIF I imagine
went and had a pedi while getting ready to do that they asked if I wanted my hands done as well sure why not so felt pampered and it's really hard getting used to short nails... one finger had broken off so was very short so she matched up the length's  now have short nails... then stopped and picked up some things to make Chicken Corn Chowder...was really good son in law doesn't overly care for onion's raw or cooked but they go into stuff he said that he didn't even tasted (texture wise) the onion all in all well received...
Tomorrow meeting up with a friend and going to a Thia place... it's been sounding good. just need to get myself up and accomplish all that I need to do
decided to stay here till Friday morning shouldn't have changed my mind but did will deal with it later...
as to the comforter I was going to get a queen size one but they came with sheets so the sheets wouldn't fit if I got the queen size one so think I will take it back see if I can find a just comforter by it's self in a color that will go ok...
one of things I want to do tomorrow... have a couple of stops to make either before I met my friend or after will decide guess when I get up it's so hard to get up lately... partly because I am going to bed so late even for me... :o
know on wood but for some reason as I've gotten older the mosquito's bother me less... I just knocked on wood
hopefully my sorta under my breath Rabbit's will work
after my son in law said the car wasn't locked I vaguely remember my dd telling me it wouldn't lock if the key was in it but that was years ago... in my defense now I just need to set a routine and lock the doors with the fob so it's in my hand
you all have a great day
