Last Day of November

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

More changes at work with how we are supposed to do things. Things change by the hour around there now!

It occurred to me that they are hiring people with just a 10 minute interview consisting of having them roll 3 joints. All employees up til now have had to be fully vaccinated for Covid. I asked the manager today if they are requiring (or inquiring :? ) that the new employees be vaccinated. He said he hasn't been checking that. He said the old owners insisted on it, including insisting on wearing masks at all times. I know that the new owners do not require masks so that made me suspicious about vaccines. He said he doesn't think the new owners require that and haven't asked him to check that with the prospective or new employees. I told him that depending on how the new variant behaves, I will have an issue with that. He told me he would double-check with the new owners about their requirements to be sure. He did say that their attitude is basically that masks are a personal choice, so that is probably their attitude with vaccines as well. I am not sure I want to be in a small, poorly ventilated room with 8-10 people, with several of them not being vaccinated, masks or not, especially if the new variant is highly contagious and/or causing severe illness. No one knows yet if the current vaccine will be effective against getting that or not.

As far as when the old owners will no longer be involved, I am not sure that will happen. I have heard that they will be directors of the new business. So this confusion and chaos could be on-going. I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens over the next month or so...

BJ, that puppy is adorable! Love the markings! Also like the tan and white one behind it. Lots of fun ahead for you!

I should check out Trader Joe's for those pre-made meals. I get tired of Stouffer's for lunch.

Off to bed soon. I am getting used to my new early schedule now. I wake up now just before my alarm goes off in the mornings.

Don't forget to say "RABBITS!" :)
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Thanks Martha I did send the picture to Beth so hopefully others will be able to see it as well... I enjoy some crafts other's not so much but do enjoy putting a wreath together... I did find that if I tilt it more it looks better was thinking I would need to go get a bow but think I can get away with no bow...
picked up a comforter for the bed that I use at mom's don't like the chenille bedspread but then it didn't come with a bed skirt and not sure I will like seeing all the junk under the bed that the bedspread hides... so it might go back.
need to be mindful of the time so I can say rabbit's rabbit's after midnight... dd will still be up so chances of saying something else is possible...
you all have a great day

I still have Good Sam roadside assistance. I was very impressed with all they did for me up in Bozeman, MT when my Jeep broke down up there 4 years ago. I have called them to get a jump on my car battery once out here.

Sheila, I never got an email from you. I even checked spam. But I went onto Facebook and uploaded the pic. Here it is:

Sheila,

I, too, have a keyless entry car and I'm pretty sure my owner's manual said the car won't completely lock if the fob is still inside. Guess the mfg. had us in mind. The other suggestion about seeing the stuff under the bed: I'm sleeping in a twin size bed now with a bunch of stuff underneath. I had a queen size quilt for my master bedroom that wasn't being used. Discovered that it goes exactly down to floor on both sides, so didn't need a bed skirt. You may want to consider getting a much larger comforter or quilt.

Barbie, really sorry to hear that, because it seems that you have been happy in your new job thus far. I'm with you - I don't know that I would wish to be spending 8 hours or so in a room like you describe either.

Bummer.
