Thanksgiving Day 2021

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thanksgiving Day 2021

Postby monik7 » Thu Nov 25, 2021 3:12 am

I don’t think I’ve ever opened Morning Coffee before but today’s the day I guess since I’m up late/early. I’d like to wish everyone a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

I don’t usually have anything to post from here as there’s not much happening with it just being my two pups and me. I read all your posts everyday and am so thankful I discovered this website back when I first got my RV in 2012 and can continue to stay in touch with all of you even though I sold the RV in 2019. I look upon you all as good friends - those I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to meet personally and just as much those I didn’t have a chance to meet while “on the road.”

Stay safe everyone and I hope you will all enjoy this day however you choose to spend it. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving Sandi, Shirl, Evie & to all our friends here!

Dinner will be served at the clubhouse and the dining room is in the 22,000 square foot building, so we are able to social distance while enjoying the meal. Enjoy the day!

Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you. When I give thanks, the women from this forum are at the top of my list. Thank you.

The rain and thunderstorms predicted to come in overnight and be with us here all day today are delayed. But they'll still be here later this morning until who knows when tonight. Right now I'm thankful for the partially blue sky for an opportunity for at least one good walk!

Happy Thanksgiving ladies!!!
Hoping you have just the perfect day for whatever you plan to do, or not do. ;) Nothing planned here since I'm not a turkey person, just more sorting stuff at dad's. I'm on to garage stuff now and my realtor cousin found a taker for one bedroom set and a charity is coming for the other bedroom set and end tables, etc. Making progress!

Lyn sad news to see about your son. Sending prayers and (((hugs))).

Happy Thanksgiving. I also am thankful for this special group of ladies. Dinner later today at my oldest son’s home so no cooking needed from me today! And I usually get to bring home some leftovers! It’ll probably be raining by the time I need to head over but as long as the snow flurries hold off I’ll be happy! I think I’ll get ready and take the pup for a quick walk before the weather moves in and since he’ll have to stay home later. Hope you all have a good day wherever you are and whatever you do today.

Same-O-Same-O here this morning. Just watching the news and enjoying my coffee, Another foggy morning here 32° but will be 55 later but dont see much sun in our forecast so fog will be with us but lighten up as the day goes on. Freezing fog out there so glad I am safely tucked inside.

Hope all of you enjoy your Thanksgiving day no matter what is on your agenda. I cooked my ham yesterday so will just slice and dice it up today and food saver it for do ahead meals. Will enjoy a few slices along with a yam and some roasted brussels sprouts. Youtube has free premium channels today thru the weekend so might find something to watch on there.

Happy Thanksgiving. Have already sent out phone calls and texts to the kids, instead of waiting for them to check in. Now to settle back and enjoy the calm and quiet day here. It is a rainy drizzly day so all three dogs are curled up and snuggling. It is very conducive to spreading the pensive and relaxing mood of the day. No parades or football games for me.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody from beautiful Kino Bay. Believe it or not Beverly and I are hosting a thanksgiving dinner for 40 +or- people. Friends staying in the park and all the Mexican staff. No turkey…we don’t have an oven big enough! The chicken lady is grilling 10 chickens for us which makes her happy. People need to bring a chair, a place setting and something to share if they can. Tables are set up in the sand and there will be a bonfire later. I am so grateful for my friends on the forum and all the other rvers I’ve met. Enjoy today. Peggy

Happy Thanksgiving from my corner of northern California . Son and I are having stuffed chicken breasts from Costco. Thankful my back injury is mending, if slower than I'd prefer. It's another sunny cool day here, wishing for rain soon.
Have a good day everyone.

Peggy, I'd attend your gathering happily. That sounds like so much fun with a great group. I'm probably going to be an outcast here because I'm skipping the dinner here. Oh well. I had something out to cook but have put it away. It's nothing against the people just not something I feel comfortable doing now. Plus the very high humidity is doing a number with my sinuses and asthma today. I even used my inhaler. Funny thing is I'm in the #1 area in the country for asthma suffers. In the next day or two things should be good again.
