Barbie, that cracked me up.

Beth hope it isnt infected, get some triple antibiotic cream when you go to the store, it will do until you get an appt.

Karen, I should have some in my mini first aid kit. Didn't even think of it. Maybe I don't need to purchase it.

Lyn so sorry to hear about your son.... cancer sucks by the way!!! I forget what different cancers are some they sneak up on you without much warning... some give you time to over come it I hope he is able to lick it... my niece has battled breast cancer this summer an aggressive type but she is done with the chemo and will have sugary the end of the month... don't know yet what kind but sure hope it rids her of it... again Lyn much prayers

Sounds like you have a good start on your Christmas gifts Judy not even thought about mine... I've gone the easy route for so long not sure that it will be changed... it seems that money suits them so much better although for the youngest I might go find something usually money at 1.5 isn't a big deal even the 8 yr olds eye's gleam when they see MONEY!!!!
I was reading a thing the other day telling why girls aren't diagnosed with adhd as often as males that was quite interesting ... one of my granddaughter's was diagnosed with it just recently
didn't accomplish much today cleaned the microwave read scriptures slept in and talked with a friend for almost an hour... did a word search or two...
need to go get my afghan and see about getting my two rows in..... it's harder when the schedule is off a lot to get it all in

Lyn, so sorry to hear about your son. Colon cancer runs in my family.

Barbie, the commotion at your work would drive me crazy. I was always happy when I had my own office and people left me alone. I didn't see the cat again. Hopefully it went home. I just don't want to have to bring another cat to the spay and neuter clinic.

I think I might have had some form of ADD, I never seemed to know what was going on. My younger son was diagnosed with ADHD and had a very hard time with school. He and I had one thing in common, not being able to spell. I still have that problem. I have a word finder, a dictionary and a thesaurus on my desk. Sometimes I can't even get close enough to fine a word in the dictionary.

I made split pea soup one time and didn't like it at all. I had never tasted it before so maybe mine wasn't made right. My son says he likes it.

Martha, I got better at spelling when computers came out with spell check. But I am still good at picking alternative vocabulary when writing notes. Then again when I remember I have Siri on my phone...that lady can spell all sorts of things as long as I can pronounce the words. Much easier than looking words up in dictionaries.....

Lyn, I will hold you and your family in my heart. Colon cancer is bad enough but the spreading to the liver.... May you and your family find strength together to get down these detours in the road. It is so hard to watch ones we love struggle when we are not able to take their suffering away. All we can sometimes do is be there with them.

Lyn, Like the others, my heart goes out to you and your family coping with your son's diagnosis. No matter how old we get we never lose the mother job and the wish that we can make it all better. Evie
