This was my hair a couple of summers ago. I always threatened the kids that I was going to do this. Every time they bugged me about doing their hair or weird piercings I would tell them I was gonna get my eyebrow pierced and dye the ends of my hair black. They never believed me and always laughed.

Well I had my eyebrow done kind of on the spur of the moment. Kelly about died from shock. David was drop jawed amazed. LOL Then came the hair. I knew I was going to be getting it cut, sooooooooo

My vote is for whatever makes a person feel good about themselves. I've been a blonde, light brown, medium brown, red, frosted, and bald twice (once from a bad bleach job and once from chemo). So far I continue to have mine colored a medium brown. I guess I'll continue coloring my hair until I can't afford it anymore. If my hair would be a pretty gray (like Karen), then I'd probably go gray, but I think mine would be an ugly gray.

A little vanity is good for us.

Echo, bet you really SHOCKED the kids? Did you have to go to work like that  Well, it was a pretty blue anyway and really coordinated well with the plaid in that blouse, LOL!

Wow! Echo that's quite a statement! Love it. I notice your eyebrow piercing wasn't visible in that photo.

The lady took before and after pics of just my eyes - immediately before and immediately after - and she printed them for me, but I don't have a scanner :( When I see my g/f that lives near, I'll try to remember to bring that and have her scan it for me. I should have done a full face before, but didn't. Will do one of the after in the next few days if I can remember how to set the camera to do that LOL

Looking forward to the before & after pictures Beth!!!!!!!!

I have had my hair about every color it could be------ I use to work for a hair coloring company & did Beauty trade shows for years------- & you can't sell color if you don't use it- so I have been about every color you could be at least twice!
But that is also one of the reasons I suffer from MCS now also!!!!!!!!!

Back in the lat 60's Tex Winter was the coach at K-State in Manhattan, Ks.---- & I was doing his wife's hair at that time----- & they wanted to give Tex some kind of award----- & his wife asked me if I would put a purple rinse on my then platinum blond hair & dress all in purple to give her Hubby the award at one of his games at half time! So I did------ but I had just bleached my hair & didn't have any toner on it at all--so when I put that purple rinse on it----that porous hair just grabbed that purple color----- & it finally faded to lavender---- & finally after I bleached it two more times the purple all came out of it------ but I had that for months!!! NEVER again----- but I was young & it didn't bother me like it would now!!!!!
