Hello for a very wet Utah

Postby jemek » Sat Jun 20, 2009 8:13 pm

We made it to Utah today...lots of rain and thunder showers. We are settled in at the park. Have done a couple loads of laundry. Our two long drive days are behind us. We have a short drive to Bryce Canyon tomorrow and will be there for a couple of days...before we take another short drive to Glendale, UT...for Zion and Coral Pink Sand Dunes.

I really really hope the weather clears up.

The trip is going well. My nephew joined us...we are enjoying his company. We do not get to see him often, so I am glad he decided to travel down us. He is 14 and great young man.

Here's hoping that the Summer Solstice will bring you a change in your weather, and that it'll get sunny and beautiful today for you! Glad your drive days are behind you for a bit, and I hope you can all make fun things to do, even if you have to stay inside! Stay in touch!

Happy travels!

You've traveled to a great area. Guess that rain will fill up the reservoirs, but hope it stops enough for you to enjoy and see how beautiful that area is. carold

just had a thought though...that area down there is big for flash floods when the weather in the north is bad....so make sure that you check in on the forecast don't get cought in any of those draws
