Mornin' ladies~~~
I've been reading and keeping up with everyone, but it's been a busy week and my brain is all over the place lately.
Glad you had some nice time outside Shirl and had a chance to meet your neighbor and pup. Martha hope giving Mr P medicine is easy. I was going to suggest liquid meds, so hopefully he won't fight to much. Beth hopefully you will be on the road as planned with good weather.
I have no comment on air fryers since I rarely cook. But I should eat a bit healthier, yea, that's not gonna happen. Gram always said something gotta kill you, so you might as well enjoy what you eat. lol
Good thing I already knew I would be off the road when Dad passed. I make a run to Goodwill every day except on weekends, but it doesn't look like I've done anything! So far at least all the clothes are gone as well kitchen things. But the house looks like a tornado hit it. I find something that I need to look through 'later', so there are piles everywhere.
This week I had to get some of my own things accomplished. Trailer was winterized on Monday and went to the inside storage place yesterday. Met Tuesday with the financial guys that Dad and I use. And Wednesday was a meeting with Dad's lawyer. While selling my house and hitting the road, I was in an easy legal and financial situation, but now things are complicated. Three trusts are involved! I'm still planning on living on my pension (no SS taken yet), and my small estate will remain with charitable donations. Trouble is now I have to figure out what to do with what I've inherited, when I don't have heirs. Right now I'm thinking of my cousins children because I remember being in my 20s and 30s, paying for college myself and trying to save to buy a home.
The only things decided so far is Dad's condo in FL will be sold at some point and the house here in Illinois will be sold too. I thought about keeping it, but although it perfect for aging in place, and is structurally and mechanically sound, estimates are over $200K to update it with AC, etc.
OK I'm rambling on and on and on, but you get the idea. Have a good day ladies.
