Oh well. Nothing I can do about it. I knew I lived in a potentially flood-prone area when I moved here (there was a major flood here in, I think, about 1955 where downtown was underwater, and several people died).
I purchased U. S. Govt. Flood insurance when I first moved here, I have kept it current every year since (although the likelihood of a major flood during a drought is pretty much slim to none).
I guess I will phone my insurance person this morning to make double-sure I am fully paid up.
It's always something.
