I will be saying prayers and sending hugs to you and Mom. Unfortunately falls in the elderly are not welcome. Dad fell and fractured his, which is what brought me home in June. He didn't need surgery. He healed really well and was doing awesome during therapy.

Sheila, sorry to hear about your Mom. Falls are so terrible for the elderly. (I also worry about falling). Your Mom seemed so healthy and vibrant when you used to talk about her.
Putting elderly in “nursing “ homes is a big decision facing your family. Not an easy time.
