Soaker Tuesday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Soaker Tuesday!

Postby BarbaraRose » Tue Oct 05, 2021 12:24 pm

Was woken up around 2am by lightning and thunder! Then rain!! The rest of the night was wonderful off and on gentle soaking rains with occasional thunder and lightning! Much needed here!! We usually get the heavy torrential rains that just flood everything and run off, but this was what we really needed to really have time to soak into the ground. It is nice and sunny now. I had my windows open last night until the rain started and the wind was blowing the rain into the windows. I closed them to just a few inches after that so I could still get some breeze and listen to the thunder.

My shoulder and wrist are really hurting. I think I probably stressed them over the weekend and then yesterday didn't help with filling tubes all day which requires more motion with my left arm and hand. I think I am on an easier job today with sealing packages. I just hope if I get that other job that I won't have a lot more problems doing this type of work full-time.

Gotta get up here, wash my hair, eat something, and go do that haircut before heading to work.

Enjoy your day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good afternoon!

Not sure where the morning went! Certainly a better day than yesterday which was very frustrating! BJ, hope your day is going better, too. I did take a great ride along Icicle River though. Leaves are beginning to change up there, but people are posting photos from Tumwater Canyon. Lots of color but they are enhancing the photos so not a true picture.

Morning text from my daughter telling me one of her soccer players has moved into the complex and likes the Slingshot! :) They must have had a conversation on their trip to out-of-town game yesterday. :) Just went out to cover in case it rains and new resident stopped to talk. My social life! :)

When I ordered replacement part for desk, I was told 6 to 8 days. E-mail yesterday says out of stock, 6-8 weeks so I get to put it back together. :x My own fault.

Barbie, afraid we are just going to live with our soreness when we overdo it. Happy to hear LInda is so much better!

we had a nice mexican luncheon today there were 4 of us... got an enchilada and taco but really wish I'd gone with my fav a chili relleno or a chimi... they do good food although there is another place in town that I actually prefer but when with someone with a walker you choose places according to parking the other place as no parking just street side parking if you can find it and stairs... not really walker friendly
came home and vegged out read scriptures and colored on phone and read some of those stupid things on FB oh and word search new book just finished one page where this was new age grammy artists... I think was the title... some where 1st names and some last names... but one I found confusing not sure that is was a name last or first or if it was just a phrase Fun
was the word... any ideas? and new age some of the names was Jones as in Tom I imagine Goulet Midler just don't think of them being "new"
really not much to say it's been one of those days..
you all have a great day
