Spent the day filling tubes with pot and I get just covered in it! I wear a lab coat but it still gets all over. I smell like I have been rolling in it!
Beth, the job I am interviewing for is the same pay but is full-time. It is unfortunately, just as far to drive as where I am working now so I use up a lot of gas driving back and forth each day.
I had gotten my mom into a really nice health care facility that was on the lake that I grew up on. It was a very expensive place and had a lot of the wealthy people from around the lake area (including the Pillsbury family) living there. My mom had no money but was on Medicaid and they were required by the state to have so many beds available for those on Medicaid and she got in that way. I remember her first day there, she was seated for lunch with John Pillsbury and one of the Cargill's. She complained that all they talked about was who had more money and toys! It was an excellent facility tho and she got the best of care there so we were really lucky with that. My dad stayed there for his hip replacement rehab and he was such an awful patient that when I tried to get him in there a few years later for transitional care, they wouldn't take him. The next time he needed transitional care, I talked them into taking him, promising I'd tell him to behave better! They reluctantly accepted him. He was on better behavior then. When my mom was there, they loved her! She was so nice and easy going and never complained about anything (not that there was anything to complain about, altho my dad sure found things!)
Martha, I have been putting my hair cutting business cards in the laundry rooms here so maybe I will get some calls from that.
