Yes, Barbie, that is a fireplace which I love.
The cabinet is patterned after the old kitchen queen baking cabinet. I looked for an original, but never found the right one. Before that my grandfather had left one behind in his farmhouse in Kansas. We went to get things from the house, but there were bees in the cabinet so we left it. When I told my mother she said those grandparents had bought that from her parents. I was so mad at myself!!

Anne, I get the 'think of her' as I have so many keepsakes. We had a lot of oak furniture, but then would buy antiques of different wood so never really had everything match.
