Oh Cheryl, I'm so sorry. I've been there, also and it's not easy. I hope you can find a place and help that is needed.

Barbie, once upon a time I wanted to work in a bookstore or library. I hope you hear back.

My friend from high school days arrived late afternoon today. He's asleep on the couch and I'm getting ready for bed. We aren't setting any alarms for tomorrow as it's going to be freezing early on. Hopefully we can sleep in, but I'm not counting on it. Ty had decided that Tom is a wonderful person and can stay. He surprised me by having a fit when we hugged hello. First time I've seen him be protective like that. But shortly after he totally accepted him.

Cheryl, your news is sad. I had a DNR on my Dad…was a problem getting the medical staff to honor it. Take care of yourself and know we all are thinking of you. Lyn

I don't know if it true but it seemed like to me that the hospital doesn't want you to die there and the nursing homes don't want you to die there. After Harold was put on hospice care they stopped all that back and forth.
