Wednesday Rolls around Again

When I woke up it was 57 degrees inside. Brrr. Ty and I are cuddling in bed. Still mid 40's outside but will get to mid 80's today. Nice weather except for getting up lol

Nothing exciting here. Vacuumed the car yesterday. I should say semi vacuumed. But it's better. Will get the inside of the rig today and do some organizing. Fridge and freezer are full so I'll eat well. Oh, on the way home from the store yesterday I passed a Culvers and the sign showed their flavor of the day... Mint chip. Yes, I found a place to turn around and went back for a cone. Yum.

Morning All, hot and humid continues. Hope my cool weather crops survive in this heat. Had a doctor appointment yesterday so got the flu shot too. I bought the two ugly file cabinets and gave one to #1 daughter. It didn’t look too bad in the back of the Forrester but had to cover it with a tablecloth in the bedroom. Will make room for it in the walk-in closet. Be safe.

Good morning from east Texas where it is cool at 71* and a light misty rain is swirling around. It should be mid 80’s with sun this pm and tomorrow. Then it is forecasting rain for the next week. Just rain. Need it, but I would have preferred it last week. I need to dump my tanks and will need to move to get a clean dump. Just goes to show ya, we can always find something to complain about. Morning chores are a Jean a long sleeved Tshirt deal with a hat. Still need that sitting out on the front porch watching things happen at least until the sun shows up. Kind of looks like fall may have arrived in parts of the country.

Great breakfast today as I picked up fresh fruit in town so had some strawberries, raspberries, cantaloupe, with my cereal. Will have some peaches with ice cream this pm. That will be delicious! Well it a chill out til the sun shines kind of day for me. Y’all have fun, be safe.

Made it to Medford, easy drive yesterday. Smokier here than up at my place but not too bad. Just relaxed yesterday and today we are going kicking around and will have lunch out so should be a fun day. Eye doc appt tomorrow and Friday morning.

It's a good thing my computer tells me what day it is because I wasn't sure. Boy did they miss the rain prediction down here. My rain gauge says 3/4 of an inch. It's only 82 but very humid. I didn't drive down to see what the river looks like but it hasn't backed up into the pasture.

I'm bored with staying home but there is no where I need to go. I guess I could clean my car like Beth. I'm not ambitious enough to haul the vacuum out there but the floor mats need to be washed.

BJ, I talked to my sister and the pain in her face came back worse. The only thing that was giving her relief was ice packs. She was trying to decide which doctor to call because there are 3 that she has seen for it.

Just want to say I enjoyed the trips down memory lane. I was home having babies in the 50’s.
I was in high school during the 40’s and remember all the “war” songs.

BJ, I talked to my sister and the pain in her face came back worse. The only thing that was giving her relief was ice packs. She was trying to decide which doctor to call because there are 3 that she has seen for it.

Martha, I was thinking about your sister today and wondering how she was. Mine was better for awhile but has also come back worse. I don't think doctors know what to do there really isn't a cure, they give the anti seizure medications which does apparently give relief to some but most have really bad side effects. I have been unable to take any I have been prescribed. Do you know what kind treatment she had? Maybe she could ask about a nerve block. I'm having a MRI next Monday to see if anything pressing on the nerve. I hope I am not allergic to the dye!

We had rain this morning, not enough but it's good we at least had some. I called the AT&T store here and guess I will get a new iPhone. I had decided on the iPhone 12 but they only have the 12Pro in stock. The did say they will do the transfer for me, thank goodness. I hope their system has improved since my last experience with them, it seemed to take forever for all the paperwork. At least I can make an appointment and once I pick it out I think the rest can be done curbside, which will be great if the store is busy.

Got a frost warning for tonight, but is surely for higher elevations and not here in the valley. Looking ahead, it won't be long though! I used the fireplace last night.

Kind of a funny week. Couldn't figure out why checkbook was negative when there is money in the bank - guess it helps when you record deposits. Ordered curbside at Safeway yesterday and forgot to put 'no substitution' on a couple things. Ended up with Sam Adams Pumpkin Pie beer - yuck! No sod being laid yet in front of apartment, but we are getting lights all along the roof lines! Actually had a text from youngest grandchild, a high school senior raising money for band. At least she remembers I exist.

Monica had a negative Covid test today as did the other paras and teachers. Whew! This school district covers the largest area of any in the state. 5 schools, 1000 students and 5 tested positive over the weekend.

My sister had the Gamma Knife. She was very allergic to one of the medicines they gave her and broke out in a big band around her waist.

Beth I'm not sure just what my plans are I did give my brother's my "notice" the other day via text no word back from them so either they are communicating with each other or they are ignoring my text... Loosely my thoughts are to leave some time the end of Oct go to Utah and either hang around for a period of time (My granddaughter is getting baptized Nov 13) so I will either make a quick trip down to AZ and plant the trailer and run back or just sit there in Ogden till later... some of it depends upon weather well a lot of it depends upon weather I'd love to understand what your set up is and hopefully we will be able to get together before you wonder to far away ... if I do stay till after the 13 will leave on Monday and not tarry alone the way again weather determines a lot of what I do do...and when
went to the store got just a few things to the tune of just under a hundred can't believe what stuff will add up to and how quickly when I went in I thought I will get that discontinued wind feature if it's still there after I checked out thought wow glad that it wasn't there as it would have added 42 dollars to it... of course there was a book and a word search magazine in that mess

my dd text us the other day told how her kitty was loosing weight and not eating so was needing to give thought to what to do tonight she text that she went to check on the kids and while doing so checked on Killer and found her "gone" so very sad for her but at the same time she didn't have to make that decision but still feel so bad for her... even though Killer would hiss at me I still liked her.... and she usually warmed up to me...
I think hot chocolate is calling my name... it does sound good...
