Sandi, I'm so glad this relaxes you and gives you pleasure. I may not comment after each one you post, but I am in awe and they also relax me.

Here’s the sandpiper you asked for Sheila.

I think I’m going to take a break from painting for awhile. It’s not because I want to, but rather because I have a bunch of things I need to tackle at home. Thank you to all who posted so many encouraging comments.

I’m still waiting for the paper from China so I can see if I can master Chinese Brush Painting. I gave them an ultimatum of this coming weekend for it to arrive or give me a refund. I suspect they will make it drag on longer than that. It’s been 2 weeks since it left China by air and no update to tracking, but still hasn’t shown up in the US. Can’t imagine where it is.

Your sandpiper is wonderful. Around March 2020, I ordered an item from China. Paid with PayPal. By may it had flown to US and was supposedly in Los Angeles. Knew it would take some time to leave China because it was a handmade item, but didn't expect it to sit weeks in Los Angeles. Then it reached San Francisco. I had complained through PayPal and sender promised it was coming. I think it was July when PayPay Was about to force refund after their investigation, when it finally arrived in perfect condition!

Sandi, where I intended to put the artwork didn't work. It is now prominently on my freezer door. :)

I got a different kind of watercolor pen to try. It comes in different size brush tips and I chose small and medium. It has the brush on the end and then the part you hold in your hand is a plastic tube that holds water. Squeezing gently releases water and then paint can be added to the brush tip to get different effects. It’s going to take a little practice, but it’s fun to try different things.

Here’s my first try.

Looks great to me. My first try would be a big mess, oh wait, all my tries would be bad.

I was just thinking the other day that we hadn't seen anything of your paintings. It will be fun to see what you do with the new pens...

Beautiful sunflower. My next door neighbor planted in spring several sunflower seeds and has this beautiful stand of flowers that makes me smile as does your painting.

Thank you Velda. To me, there’s just something about a sunflower that makes me smile and makes things better.
