Catherine I love my Fasta Pasta...........easy peasy for one or two servings. I make a big pot of sauce and then freeze it in freezer containers so I can take one out, then make some pasta and I have a meal.

I only change a few of my passwords, Facebook, Gmail, and a few other sites but only amounts to 4 or 5. I use the same password for all the BS sites I go to so dont change them. I have a second Gmail acct for those shopping sites, some camping sites etc. So not really a big deal but the way Facebook gets hacked I always change that one. And since my Gmail acct is linked to it I change that one too. My financial places I dont need to because I have really difficult passwords for them.

I searched for my Fasta Pasta and didn't find it. It's possible it's in storage at my casita. I used it a lot at first but then seemed to not use it as much. I still have that rule to get rid of things I'm not using. If that's not in Arizona, I'll be buying a new one. Meantime, no pasta for me.

They have to open the lower CG tomorrow because it's fully booked, as well as the upper, this weekend. This place hasn't been busy since mid-June, so it'll be interesting. Even the motel is busier, but not full.

Cheryl, I'm sorry for your dad's setback. I hope it's temporary.

The cooler, wet day today had my hip aching. I used to laugh at all the older relatives that could tell the weather by things like this. Now I'm one of those people. Lol

It will be really neat Irmi when you are all unpacked .... you have the same type of set up as Jennie I think live in the motor home but have the casita to spread out in... or am I wrong?
we are so in need of rain and or snow saw a picture of Jackson Lake and the appears miles of dirt to get to the water although I am sure it wasn't miles and Beth not that far away probably about 600 miles south of me is having flash flooding...and that is a guesstimate probably not that far...
worked a bit on my Swedish Weave... just a bit really need to pull that out more often and work on it might even get it done... :? trying to finish the baby's afghan now I am wishing that I had used different yarn yes it is nice yarn but not as soft as I am used to and for a baby that I think is wanted... but oh well it's the thought that counts right?
need to go look at that recipe... I have a microwave that works so that pasta cooker wouldn't work for me but sounds nice... ought to get it for here that is a thought but only have about 6 weeks left before I hope to be back in the trailer getting it ready to go never really unpacked it the dolls are still in their bins the shepherd's hooks are still in the truck but I need to take stuff from here to there and the kids moved stuff so sil could fix the shelf that fell it was something that Larry put up by the window..and they also took out the kennel I hope it returns as I used the top of it for stuff like a place for scriptures a bin with paper stuff in it a bin with stuff like finger nail clippers and all that stuff that you can utilize while sitting there watching tv or listening to the radio and another one for stuff not sure what to do with by bin I don't mean the big ones these are more like oh I'm not sure but all fit on the top of the kennel  one day I do want to get another dog but as long as I need to take care of mom it won't work out she isn't for a dog inside ... Beth how long will you stay at your summer work job?
Cheryl sorry to hear that your dad isn't doing as well right now... I am lucky I have two siblings that can help another one that works and another one far away and disabled...

I used to have a Fasta Pasta but somewhere along the way it must have been gotten rid of in a move. I did like it tho. I have a special small cooking pot now for pasta with a locking lid that has a strainer built in. I used to have to break the pasta noodles in half to get them all in the pot but I found some pasta out here that are already half the length as normal so that works well.

Cheryl, I hope your dad gets better soon. It is a hard thing to take care of a needy parent. I didn't go thru that 24/7 with either of my parents but the emotional aspect was there all the time, which was hard too.

Anita, I got some balm from the receptionist where I work, that works really great for my shoulder pain. Better than anything I have tried thus far. She started making it for her husband who had cancer for his pain. Now she sells it to dispensaries. It has CBD and THC but doesn't get into the bloodstream so you don't get high from it at all. Luckily, I can buy it from her for wholesale (half price). I highly (no pun intended!) recommend trying a CBD product for your shoulder pain. I would pay retail price for this stuff if I couldn't get it from her cheaper, that is how great I think it is. I was having pain at work today and used some of it on my shoulder and within a half hour, it was gone and still is. I find that it lasts about 12 hours.

Tomorrow, i have my last PT session (per my insurance) at 1:00. Will need to be better at doing my home exercises from now on. They do make a difference.

Off to bed...

Barbie, I would like to have some of the balm your friend makes. I've tried a couple but they didn't get to my pain. It is also good that topicals don't get into your bloodstream. If you take blood pressure medicine or any medicine that has a grapefruit warning you should wait 4 1/2 hours before taking CBD or THC by mouth. There are several sites you can check for interactions.

I remembered to say Rabbis yesterday morning but was busy and didn't post.
Now I want a pan like you mentioned that has a built in strainer!

Velda pointed out that topicals do enter the bloodstream..I guess I wasn't fully awake when I posted that it doesn't say-- it doesn't go through the liver.

I take CBD oil with less than .3% THC every night at bedtime. Before I started taking it, I would go to bed around 10:00 pm and still be awake at 2:30 am or even later. Now I can go to sleep within about 20 minutes. What a difference! I see no noticeable difference the next day except that I’ve gotten a good night’s rest. The very small amount of THC does not make you high. So glad I decided to try it.

It's a misconception, that topicals don't get in bloodstream ! Even back early in my career, there were certain drugs you wore gloves for because of how they readily absorbed through skin and got in your bloud stream and would be very harmful. Many drugs are now available as topicals because they do get in bloodstream that way. Example: morphine patches for pain control or the cream my husbands Dr had custom made with 3-4 different usually taken orally drugs, for his nerve pain in wrist. Since we are all retired , I wouldn't worry about it, but if it was a work issue, I'd want it tested and in writing to make sure zero THC gets to blood stream (I'm betting some does, just not enough for you to feel it). Also, the effect of THC depends on its various tetra-cannabinoids and the other components of the strain it was made from. Cannabis is not just CBD and THC, each of those may be varying amounts of CBD A B and so on. Mel often chose as many as 4 different cannabis strains when he made up his oil extractions which he used both topically and orally. The strains were each carefully chosen for its level of each chemical component and it's effect- example, he at one point was choosing for appetite stimulant , anti nausea and sleep inducing, but also had a day time combo for not putting him to sleep but alertness plus pain control. I use CBD made from hemp so very low in THC, for sleep and pain control. My CBD oil can be applied to skin and also help my neck, though, at moment, I choose a cream based CBD for my neck because it doesn't make such a mess.
We had a quiet day enjoying the cleared air yesterday. I went to Curves and walked on treadmill. I marinated a package of flap steak, then air fried and sliced thin for tacos, after which we watched Paralympics. Happy Rabbits day!

That is interesting. I have not noticed getting tired from it. Luckily, I most likely won't have to get a drug test at work!

As I sad,Barbara, it all depends on the strain! Some emphasize sleepiness , some help you be awake. It's all very interesting. You might want to read at tne Medical Janr site some time as its a good reference. Yep, don't think you will get tested! And what a fun place to work!
