They gave me the same option of a bridge or an implant. I chose the implant based on advice from a friend, but I am not committed to it. Cost, with a discount is $4990 for the implant. I need to call tomorrow to get an estimate for the bridge, but I think it will be about half. Can I ask what you paid and what your estimate was for the implant?

I'd appreciate advice from anyone else on this decision. It is a back tooth, so will never be seen. They told me the work to do the bridge was very extensive on the two teeth on either side of the bridge, which sounded awful. It was several appointments and a lot of grinding, etc.

I'm going to start another discussion this in the General area.

Karen, hope your friends don't lose their house. I use the trick of calling my home phone to see if the answering machine is working when I evacuate for a storm. If it doesn't answer I know the electricity is off. I said last year I was going to buy a small generator and haven't bought one yet.

I picked up the truck and went to Tractor Supply and Lowe's. I got the wheel for the gate and a piece to fix the shower. I thought I was going to have to buy a new faucet set to get the piece that holds the shower wand but found something to hold it. Eddie was here spraying the pasture when I got home so got him to fix the gate. I'm glad to see he got the tractor started.

Beth, now might be a good time to start wearing a mask again. This time to breath cleaner air.

Judy, I wonder if the lack of a gall bladder might be part of my sister's problem. She will go all day without eating and then eat a big dinner. A lot of the time it's eating out, things she shouldn't be eating.

I was hoping the motorhome would have been ready so I could get both vehicles home today but no such luck.

I have n95 masks which I've worn when smokey, etc. I think I have to be more aware of our bad air days and sometimes wear a mask when outside and walking Ty, but particularly on work days I need to shut the doors to the rooms and have the air on instead of working with the doors open.

made it to the store and got gas as well... mom's car uses premium it was 3.99 :o yikes!!! had cents off due to points took it down to 3.29 and it still cost 45 dollars.... can't imagine what it would come to if it was the full amount... :o
it's hard to come up with stuff to fix for meals and take in mind the heat.... tonight we had French Dips.. and corn on the cob and pulled out the left over deli salads that nephew bought.... they are now either gone or tossed the fruit salad was going dark so the serving that was left is gone... he had bought a container of mac salad Reeser's not a brand that I like mom doesn't either so they need to take it home or it will go into the garbage as well...
I bought some pulled pork for us to use up what is left of the hamburger buns... not sure if that will be tomorrow's or if the Keilbasa will be used up still have 1/2 of it need to figure out how to use it found a recipe using it with potatoes that sounds good...
watching Murder She Wrote... enjoy the show but have to wonder about the accents
hope everyone is doing well and that those close to the fires will be ok
