Back at Camp Dad's Driveway. I should have taken the detour that would have added 2 hours on the return trip. I basically did 3 mph from the Michigan state line, thru Indiana until I hit I-80. Only one small fender bender. The headaches were due to construction. You'd think M-DOT and IN-DOT would not close lanes on a big holiday weekend. Down from 3 lanes to 1 for 100 or so yards, back to 3 lanes then a few exits down the road, the same thing! 2 1/2 hours to get to Grand Rapids and 5 hours to get home. ARGHHH!!

At least I'm plugged in and the A/C is running in the camper. Thank goodness! I may get some better sleep tonight.

a stay at home day!!!! did get everything that I set out to do done... didn't water outside plants as we had some good rain it was so nice even thunder...
took leftover's and made veggie/beef soup I don't know how to make a small pot of soup so still have leftovers although the only thing I put in the fridge other than left over soup was 1/2 can of tomato paste... if I'd been able to find the paste in the tube would have bought that I will have to remember that that paste is in the fridge and use it in something before it grows... I tossed away a few things good thing mom didn't see me
even a cottage cheese container   but it was moldy so felt like the container would keep that taste... that's my story and I am sticking to it
you all have a good night
