My health

I guess I am on borrowed time. The left side of my heart is working at only 20% and I have Afib. Statistics say 5 years and I have used 2 of them.

I am looking for someone that would like to be a snowbird and would take care of and love my fur kids (Beastie: 4yr. old cat...JayJay: 3yr. old terrier mix) both neutered and they travel well.
I want them to be together (they are best buds) and in their home, so I will give my place in AZ (32 ft. toy hauler on fenced lot) to the right person. It is off the grid but has solar and a generator. I hope to put in a septic and hook up to electric but meantime I dump my Blueboy at neighbor's. Water would have to be bought but you wouldn't want to drink AZ water anyway.

Know anybody that would like to get away from snow for the winters?

Thinking of you. May you find a solution for your needs. Worrying about what might/will happen when we are gone is real. I faced it this winter when I wasn't sure which way my body would decide to go.

Marda, I’m so sorry to hear this. I’ve often wondered where you found a place. I seem to remember you were looking around Salome in Arizona. I really wish I could help out with your cat and dog, but with my two pups I’m also worrying about care for them in the future. You will be in my prayers.

I have a piece of the desert just outside of Salome, AZ. Small town but has Post Office, Sheriff substation, 2 gas stations, Family Dollar, Dollar General, NAPA sells propane and does auto repairs, another auto repair shop, motels, school, community center, food bank, walk-in clinic. Lots of off-road areas for ATV riders.

Salome is about 35 miles from Q. Walmart is in Parker.

Marda, I am sorry to see this, but hopefully you still have those other years left. I know there has been expansion around Salome, but how about in your area of the desert?

For those wanting info, Salome is where I spent several winters. I haven't been out to Marda's place for a few years, but she came to the park I was at to visit.
