I was so foggy this morning! I went out to put food and water in the bowls for the stray kitties and filled the water bowl first. Then I poured a big scoop of dry food right on top of the water bowl!
So I scraped off the dry (now wet) food out of the water and put it in a paper bowl, then filled the dry food bowl with food before refilling the water bowl!
Looks like someone was nibbling on the wet kibble today so not a total loss.
Martha, I love filet mignon!! My favorite piece of steak! Altho I had tri-tip once and that was pretty darn good! Be careful camping especially if you get more rain there.
Karen, I use a red comb on Lola and she comes running when she sees that comb! So funny! I have tried different brushes on her but the comb seems to work better than anything else. It is just a small hair comb like I use at work.
I ended up buying frozen french toast!
Lazy? Yes!
I finally tried again to pay my property taxes on line and it worked this time. Yay! One less thing to worry about. Now to get my income taxes done. I need the money!
I need to get my oil changed in my Jeep and see if they can figure out how to fix my windshield wipers that turn on by themselves and the door locks that won't unlock. Need my new wiper blades put on too. I can never figure that out myself. The blades on there now are falling apart from going back and forth over a dry windshield, not to mention the heat drying them out. Jeep needs a bath too. There is a brand new Quick Quack car wash near me that sent me coupons for a free wash, so I will take advantage of that.
I have been researching minivans to see if there is one that I could turn into a short-trip camping van. Found a Dodge Grand Caravan that has three rows of seats and the back two rows fold down into the floor. (so I wouldn't have to remove them). I could use that space with the seats put down to put a small folding twin bed and camping stuff (and portapotty) in there, but still have the seats available to use when I just want a regular car. The prices are comparable to my Jeep for age and miles. Just thinking about it for now but am glad I finally found a van that will work until I can retire and get a real camper van. I could use this for spending a couple days at the beach or mountains, etc. I think I could even fit my kayak in there, if I am able to even use that anymore.
(I am not ready to give up on that possibility).
No wind tonight but also didn't feel as hot out today.
