Wednesday and I couldn't see the moon eclipse

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday and I couldn't see the moon eclipse

Postby Bethers » Wed May 26, 2021 12:37 pm

I really hoped to see the total eclipse of the moon overnight. I could see the moon behind clouds as it started around 2:30 am here. Reset my alarm for 5 am, which would have been shortly before totality, but could no longer see the moon  So I went back to bed.

I ran to the coffee shop in this little town and got a breakfast burrito. They make them from scratch and I'll get 2 to 3 meals from one. I shared part of the first 3rd with Ty. A very small part but yes he's very spoiled.

BJ, Ty gets glucosamine. I'll look into your cbd if these become more regular. I'd almost forgot he was prone to this happening as it had been so long. I'm hoping it is so long or longer till the next time. I was scared because it took so long to go back in the socket and what I was doing wasn't working.

Anne, Utah and Arizona are also in droughts. Where I am is a valley and when rain does happen we can see it all around us but we are lucky to see just drops. These times are scary.

I was able to see the eclipse very clearly. Totality began at 4:10 a.m. here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Looked wonderful and was definitely something awesome to see and experience.

Well, I had my meeting with the owner this morning. It did not go well. He was being totally unreasonable and nasty about the whole thing, and denying anything wrong was said or done to me. I tried to keep my cool thru the whole thing but I was just about in tears by the time I decided to get up and leave. This is a no-win situation for me. I will contact the manager of Sport Clips and get that going. I just feel so defeated!

I think moving to the other business is a smart move for you, Barbie. That said, I'd still look into reporting them. I left Death Valley for different reasons, but it boiled down to the management acting like this one just did with you. It's not worth our mental health. Hugs.

Hi ladies! Beth, I'm so sorry you didn't see the eclipse last night but happy Sandi did. Barbie, I'm sorry things didn't work out the way you had planned. I think moving on is your best bet and wish you well. I saw the moon early this morning when I got up and it was so pretty. Steve has an appointment this Wednesday to get his FL drivers license and I'm so happy for him. We plan on starting to empty our home in MD when we go back for eight weeks. The traffic there is such we can't tolerate it anymore on top of the fact that my family is gone. It's time to make new roots. The temperatures here topped off at 94 this afternoon and like our friends in the west, we haven't had any rain for awhile, either. The Memorial weekend is this weekend and I give thanks to all those that served and to those that died for all of us to be free. We are having a celebration in church with some of our congregation wearing their uniforms and processing carrying the American flag on the first hymn.

didn't even plan on looking at the moon as we have had so much cloud cover and intermittent rain... won't complain at all till it is in the way and they can't finish planting then we might  actually I think most had finished planting will hope so and then that the seeds don't wash away. even though I mention rain we are still in a drought condition ... they didn't get the snows they needed through the winter so it is actually through out the west... some worse than other's I remember one year when living in Utah that the humidity was so low that there was some trees that would just start burning up... it was super bad... we will certainly pray for more moisture in all areas needed... the last two years in Q there has been little to no rain not good at all
that last painting of Sandi's made me laugh it was so cute...
Barbie I think part of the issue is that the customer backed down in her report at least that is what I thought you said that she down played it... had she been as upset for herself as you were for her and yourself it would be for favorable for you... but look at it as perhaps a good thing... at the sports and whatever it's mostly men hair cuts right? so no perms and no styling or would assume that anyway so it should be better on your shoulder as well as the cuts should be quicker due to length of most men's hair... good luck with all that you decide to do
spent a ton of money today  looked at books couldn't find them on my list of bought books till I got home and was more diligent found them so will return them... little over 24 dollars was put back into my checking account and 13 handed to me (no receipts for those two items) but then I spent lots some for stuff for mom a couple of tops she had picked up some in Walmart in Lander but they didn't fit (she likes them loose so insists upon saying she is a large) NOT so they were too big so replaced them hopefully she will like them had I been thinking would have taken a picture and sent them to sil but didn't and then I got some TP when I went to get some in Jackson it was high so told her I would get some later... so got that
came home didn't even go up to the house tired and it was raining
Sharon sure can't think of her last name mentioned on FB that she had a chicken/pecan sandwich from Arby's made me remember how much I liked them and hadn't had one for years so went to get one... was yummy
the eye report was good will go back in 5 weeks
you all have a good day
