Nice job on the grapes. Looks very much like the older branches on vines in my yard. Very creative.

Another beautiful painting! Have you attempted Koi fish? I know those are more complicated, especially the fancy ones.

Do you use any books with instructions and/or pictures to learn the brush strokes? I would love to learn how to do this on my gourds!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Yes, I did a koi and posted here on page 5. I wasn’t too happy with it so will try maybe a white/orange koi soon. No, I have no books and I’ve found YouTube hard to follow, they go so fast and don’t explain a lot. That’s why I really would like to find an in-person class. So right now I’ve just been looking online for ideas. I’m using watercolors and I’m not too sure how they would work on one of your gourds. Maybe acrylics would work better.

Yes, I did a koi and posted here on page 5.

Somehow I missed that one. Looks very good! I love your waterfall painting and the rabbits you did earlier.

Have you checked to see if there is a FB group for this? I am on a few different gourd groups there and have learned a lot.
