And Now It’s Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

And Now It’s Wednesday

And a damp and chilly morning to start off. Nothing exciting to report from here. Weather too wet to work outside, although I did finish putting in the stone edging around my flagpole and got the mulch down just before the rain started on Sunday. We had a good soaking which we really needed. Over 3 inches from Sunday to yesterday. Very much needed. I renewed my drivers license and got my hair cut on Monday and cleaned the house yesterday. Really exciting news, huh

Enjoyed reading the comments about the printers. Yep, ink isn’t cheap. I have a Canon and it takes 5 cartridges. Fortunately I don’t use it a lot, so they last me awhile. It’s wireless but unfortunately not compatible with my IPad, so I send stuff to my computer and print through there. But as I said, I don’t print that often, so it’s not a big deal.

Think I’ll take a ride down to Camping World this morning. Have a $10 coupon to use and I want a new anode rod for my hot water heater. Haven’t uncovered my trailer yet due to the weather, but hopefully this weekend.

Wow Barbie, you are going to have some tough decisions to make, but I know you will figure it out. Beth, glad you seem to be enjoying your work so far. Shirl, was it you who bought that neat side table from Wayfair? Just wondered it it was one that had to be assembled. I’m looking for a couple of new end tables for my living room.

Time to move along here, so wishing you all a nice day out there.

Morning All, woke up to rain and t-storm predicted. A week of more of the same. Fits my mood which has been blah. No projects so just hanging out. I bragged about wonderful Walmart grocery pickup and think I jinxed it. Canceled the last two orders because the orders went hours beyond the designated time. Now think it was because the young employees went back to school. Placed an order for today so shall see if they have gotten their act together. Sue, I ordered a sideboard from Wayfair. It is the white one pictured on my statement wall. It went together smooth as butter. Everything aligned perfectly. Barbie, I had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders and haven’t had any problems since. Maybe no problems because I no longer unload truck loads of soil or chop down trees. How well you recover depends on how faithful you are to PT. I need to get my act together too. Be safe

we actually did something today took mom to Walmart she wanted a certain brand of body wash they didn't have it and I wanted my books they didn't have them frustrating as the dog series has started again and I don't want to miss any of them  then we went for food ... even though they didn't have what we needed both of us found something to buy.... brownies for desert  Mom actually ate more than I've seen her in in forever usually we go to a food place and take home 99% of her food she eat enough of it that we didn't even take a to go box... and she even had two coconut shrimps for an appetizer
did really good.... she sure wants to go home we are taking her for the weekend not sure she is going to be happy having to come back but I have the cataract surgeries the next two weeks some church functions that I want to attend and a granddaughter's graduation plus hopefully some of my kids will make it up for memorial day weekend we told her that hopefully we will have things worked out so she can come home and stay home memorial day weekend. I think she is hoping she can be on her own I'm not sure that will or can happen... so we will need to figure out what is best... she doesn't want to be a burden to anyone and she isn't but convincing her of that is not going to happen... guess we will see what is best
she has even mentioned getting a "help I've fallen" devise of some sort as she feels that will increase her ability of going home... so guess I ought to do some research on some of those out there... but not good at research maybe I will enlist some of my kids to do so...
you all have a good day

Sheila, I got my dad the Life Station alert system. I was very impressed with it and it wasn't terribly expensive. You can get it either to hang around your neck or as a wrist watch type of thing. Both are water proof so you can shower with them on.

Didn't do much all day until I went to meet with friends/neighbors for dinner. Had a good meal and great conversation. Met a few new people as well.

Got my forms all filled out for my appointment tomorrow morning. Will let you know what he says. I have been doing some research on Google about the different options so I better understand what he tells me and know what questions to ask while I am there.

I feel like my side effects of the vaccine are pretty much done now. Not too bad.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
