Velda, because I don’t have great confidence in the Chinese version of my name that I looked up, I’ve ordered one of the square Chinese name stamps you see on their creations. It will come with a red ink pad. These stamps usually appear underneath Chinese writing naming the piece. They could not fit my first and last names in Chinese unless I wanted to go to a larger size. I was worried that size might over-shadow the actual painting so I went with the smaller version with my first name and last name initial. That’s why some I’ve painted aren’t signed while waiting several weeks for the stamp. They carve the name onto it so it takes a little while. We’ll see how it looks. Once it comes I can decide if I want to go with the larger size. This is all a learning experience while having nothing else to do each day after walking the pups.
